morning christian. >> reporter: good morning, you are nice and warm in the studio and we are definitely feeling that cold temperature in downtown livermore. there is a clock we have been monitoring the temperature on that. when we got here it red 28 so temperatures are still dropping here in livermore and those temperatures could drop even more as we approach sunrise. they prompted the service to run and it could be extended if those cold temperatures linger. it will not be unusual for commune ters -- commuters to finds ice on their windshields and more importantly black ice on roadways especially on overpasses and bridges. we spoke to one man who was braving these temperatures in shorts. those freezing temperatures

lifted a shelter in place for the pacific heights warning. it was after 10:00 last night when they were called to pacific avenue near lion street after getting word of a possible natural gas problem. officers sealed off several streets and told residents to stay indoors. they discovered an electrical problem involving an unground fault. -- underground vault. italians have announced they have now recovered a second black box from the ship. you can see the ship is still just sitting there and the discovery of the other black box comes from their search of the other missing 29 passengers. they will continue the search and today they will use small
