>> and, a 12-year-old at a concert security guy clash in a dance-off. see how the winner cleaned up. >> now, ashton, you do know that you can get girls if you will dance, right? >> yeah, i basically got all of the girls at the concert. >> it's all coming up next on the rdm "countdown." >> we kick off today's "rtm countdown" with, our number ten video, one that gayle found for us. >> modern technology, cell phones made all the difference for two texas drivers that were swept away by floodwaters. the car you see there is 71-year-old dorothy's chevy tahoe. she was in dallas, it's been deluged by heavy rain. it's got lots of flooding. she was swept away under the lbj freeway. >> it's a miracle that i'm alive. >> she called 911 and firefighters were able to rescue her.

here's the thing, the lbj freeway is under construction and they say that's part of the reason for the severe weather flooding. four people were rescued in the waters because a fossil creek overran and flooded the road near fort worth. the car you see here, the man stuck in that car called 911 three times to get rescued. the first time he called -- they couldn't even understand what he was saying. >> i can barely hear you, where you at? >> the first call, his voice was garbled. 20 minutes later came the third call and he talked to them. >> the water is up to my chest. >> they're trying to get to you as quick as they can. >> okay. >> okay. i'm going to drown here if a little bit. >> he sounds remarkably calm to be saying that he's in water up to his chest. >> they did finally save him by

boat. and water rescuers say that's the most dangerous rescue for firefighters to perform. >> at number nine. video evidence of just how quickly things can go really, really wrong. you guys will have to help me figure out if in this case, the police are the victims. >> this is in philadelphia near temple university. you see two cops trying to arrest 19-year-old rodney gambrel. and a second man, who seems to try to be getting in the way and trying to stop the cops from making the arrest. there's tugging, there's pulling. in this case, rodney is completely trapped between two cops. the cop lying on the ground becomes afraid for his safety and the safety of his partner. and ends up pulling his gun out of the holster and pointing it at the other guy. >> i don't blame him. >> the cops never fired the gun and they were finally able to

make the arrest. >> i'm surprised he didn't pull the gun out earlier. they were totally outnumbered. >> it sounds like these guys started the situation. >> according to the posters, this confrontation started after the bicycle cop got rodney as he was riding his bike past him. what's amazing is that the guy would be confrontational with a cop. temple police ended up arresting rodney and he's been charged with aggravated assault and other crimes. the second guy did get away, but investigators are hoping to identify him. >> it seems like there's at least one video from russia every week on our "countdown" and this one is at number eight. >> nick, i'm so sorry to steal one of your lines, but -- to russia! >> bring it. >> we've seen bungee jumping off of bridges, we've seen it off of balloons, we've seen it off of cranes. now, in russia, we're going to see people bungee jumping into a

>> that's how tough we russians are! we do love to celebrate stupid criminals on our rtm top 10 "countdown." here's our number one stupid criminal and our number seven video. >> it's a bank robbery in pirhana, brazil. but the guys, the robbers shoot themselves in the foot on this robbery. because a guy literally shoots himself in the foot. during the robbery. they've got some hostages, they're moving them around. but then their lookout guy is in the front door keeping things under control. there's always one guy in the group of bank robbers that are the klutz. >> the weakest link? >> yeah. he's taking a little break, holding the gun in his left hand. and he is taking a rest. and he ends up shooting himself in what looks like his right foot. literally the guy shoots himself in the foot. the funniest thing about the video is after the thieves make off with $30,000 reals, which

comes out to $17,000, he's got a noticeable limp. >> my god! >> they caught this guy, surprise, surprise. >> that was because he eventually went to the hospital to seek treatment for a gunshot wound to his left foot. >> no word if he wore the hat and sunglasses disguise to the hospital. but -- they're still searching for the other bank robbers in this heist. his partners in crime are like -- i knew we shouldn't have of a call on this job. >> shot myself in the foot. >> walk it off. >> we can't take you anywhere. >> we've seen some dumb criminals. now that is a dumb criminal -- that's just dumb. >> do you think that bank robbers put together training videos that they show prospective bank robbers and say this is what you shouldn't do when you're guarding the front door? >> you know what, i think they were missing the disk. the weather on tv.

and steven found it for us. >> we say a lot of things are shocking on the show. shocking video, shocking news story. this -- is shocking. a guy named darren khan made a documentary about the phenomenon about lightning and he shot it in the lightning capital of the world, which i didn't know, is florida. >> i've been obsessed with lightngmyade of, where does it come from. >> throughout the documentary he talks to doctors, he talks to lightning experts, he tries to learn everything he can about lightning. and he also decides, what better way to learn about lightning than to get struck by it on purpose. >> what? >> the reason i'm doing this is i want to go and get struck by lightning. >> why would you want to do that? >> darren sets out to create after talking to all these experts and doctors, he sets out to create a suit that will protect him from the lightning. he creates this sort of makeshift costume made up of shoulder pads, chains on his

legs. complete with antlers that he has dipped in liquid metal. he then goes with the professional storm chaser during a huge lightning storm it take him out into the middle of a field. during a giant lightning storm. >> no way, this is a prank. >> dude, dude! >> you see some photos of his injuries. >> a lot of people are having the same conversation online that we're having right now. is this real? is this a hoax? there's so much about this. first of all, getting struck by lightning is a one in a moyer chance or more. walking out the door one night and saying i'm going to get struck by lightning seems improbable. >> but think about a lightning rod at the top of a skyscraper, those things get struck over and over again because they're meant to direct lightning and this guy was going to attract that bolt of lightning. >> the production of the film was funded by jagermeister. >> well, that sounds to me like a big promotion now. >> the jagermeister logo has the big antlers on the bottle.
