penalty. he is serving 60 years to life for killing a homeless man. >> a mother from fairfield whose children all died in an apartment fire was sentenced today. the judge sentenced her to time served plus ten years probation. she spent nearly two years in jail. she could have been sentenced to 24 years. she was convicted of manslaughter and child endangerment after her three children and her neic died in the fire. investigators say the fire started after she and her sister left the children alone with lit candles. the judge heard from five people today requesting mercy as well as james before making the decision. four men are under arrest tonight accused of stealing apple products from delivery trucks, between december and january the four men all broke into fedex trucks parked near apple stores and stole items.

. the breaking news be brought us, more live coverage live over international boulevard in oakland in the area of 64th and 66th avenue. that intersection, those two blocks of international are shut down because of a shoot out between two vehicles that happened late this afternoon. we know the police were in the area of international boulevard in the 57th avenue and they heard shots. they just happened to be there. they went to investigate, pulled a vehicle over and inside that vehicle they found a gun shot victim. here is the new information. we have learned the person who was shot was a mail, shot five to six times, has been taken to the hospital and that one

mission to get breast cancer things to low income women. . >> reporter: but the fall out continues. the firefighter's association raised $2,800 for the komen foundation and their board voted to give that money to the breast cancer fund instead. >> it was raised specifically to go toward awareness, education, and research to find a cure for breast cancer. we don't want that donation to be mired up in political thing that are going along with it. >> by not giving money they are in fact damaging our services for low income women. >> reporter: now the director of the komen association said they opposed the foundation's decision. something they made clear in a statement they sent out early their week but she said nonetheless because of her association with them she worries she will get fewer donations in the future.
