mateo bridge. we continue our storm coverage, as we hit the streets this morning, it has been steady and several rain related accidents overnight. looking at this first one, this accident looks worse than it was. this driver made it out okay and just before 3:00 he was taking the on ramp when he says his car hydroplaned, he then spun before he went airborne. >> i tried to correct it, before i knew it, i hit the curb and i am getting flipped over. >> and there was another rain related accident, this one near the boulevard on ramp in richmond. as a reminder, you may want to give yourself extra time this

teachers are accused of abusing students. they announced a staff shake up at the elementary school. two long time teachers were arrested on lewd acts on students. the staff is being relocated and replaced while a full investigation is completed. >> these are people who taught in this school for years and assumed everybody else is doing good things and of course they found out, that potentially is not true. >> the school is closed and when it opens, new teachers and staff will be in place. social workers will be present in every classroom. the unified classroom is dealing with sexual abuse against a school janitor. they arrested him on suspicion of a lewd act with a child. now a mother told police that the janitor had inappropriate

conduct with her child. he is due in court later this month. back here in the bay area, stamford students are being warned to be on alert after two women were attacked on campus. a female student was walking through the kennedy grove area at 1:45 a.m. when she was tackled. a passersby yelled scaring off the man, 15 minutes later he crawled into a sleeping woman's bed, she got up and ran away and students say it is a reminder to be vigilant. >> it brought the message home to me that we need to be more cautious about what doors we leave open on the group floor and locking our doors at night. >> meantime students are urged to walk in pairs, carry a cell phone and use well-lit travel routes. and the republican

presidential candidates will be watching the results come in today from three different contests. colorado and minnesota is holding a caucus. mitt romney is leading in the polls but a new poll shows rick santorum ahead in minnesota and missouri. they released the names of the presidential candidates so far on the ballot, so far 24 candidates. additional names can be placed on the ballot, as we announced comedian roseanne bar is registered and so far the person with the most is libertarian and that's nine. the project to protect the tower they want to limit the number of commercial activities

and private events held at the landmark. the group also wants money from concessions to be used to maintain the murals and the building. the community turned into petitions yesterday, they need 9700 to get the measure on the june 5th ballot. and getting signatures for their initiative, state income taxes by 3% for people earning more than $1 million a year. people making more than $2 million a year would see a 5% increase if that measure is approved. they would also be on the november ballot. 4:49 is the time, russian's prime minister is talking with president, calling on him to end his opposition forces.
