inside for his arraignment this afternoon. his sister asked the dep ate whether she could pass her brother a note. he said no. >> reporter: what did you want to give to your brother? >> i wanted to him we love him and support him. >> reporter: she said she is bothered by all the attention her brother received, now that includes an attempted murder charnel and assault with a deadly weapon. enhancements have been added because a gun was used with malicious intent. he is accused of shooting robert suplik tuesday morning. robert suplik is in critical condition. police wouldn't give a motive but his wife was one of his students at the bay area optical schools. the owner of the school told us today he saw no intimacy between the two.

>> student-teacher relationship. she is an a student and there was no problems at all there. >> reporter: the district attorney says he is being held without bail and expected to be back in court tomorrow morning at 9:00. reporting live, jade hernandez, ktvu channel 2 news. searchers dug up a human skull today but it was not the remains of a girl who has been missing for years. they were found on a property. authorities say wesley shermantine gave them a map leading them to the body of that victim. there was some thought it might be mikhaila garrett who was kidnapped in 1988 but it wasn't the case. the remains belong to cyndi vanderheiden. police released an age progression photo of a woman

who went missing. she was 22 when she disappeared in 1993. she was hospitalized after a mental break down. investigators think she may have had another mental break down and left home on her own. he faces five felony counts in connection with a tuesday night plast. investigators say he was manufacturing drugs when the explosion occurred. she received minor injuries. the boy remains in the hospital tonight. several streets in san francisco's financial direct reopened after an underground fire in a pg&e vault. smoke was reported at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon. officials say the fire was sparked by a failed secondary fuse in the vault. no one was injured but customers will have brief

outages as they make repairs. five tents went up as part of the occupy cal movement. >> i don't see anybody camping. >> i don't either. >> okay. answer right the. >> this was the scene in berkeley. police were asking protesters to take down their tents, reminding them it is not allowed. police told us they have not removed the tents but officers are continuing to monitor the situation. in oakland, a man was arrested for walking in frank ogawa plaza after he was ordered to stay away. police say he was given a stay away order because of his violent acts during the occupy protest. he was arrested after officers spotted him walking in the plaza last night. the nation's biggest banks are being held accountable tonight. they agreed to pay for the banking abuses that contributed to the housing cries.

seen here on youtube going after two special agents last month. he is part of a crew filming a movie about mavericks surf contest and many surfers rely on jet skis. on this day, they showed up to remind the surfers, jet skis are banned in certain areas and depending on conditions and time, one of those areas is mavericks.
