>> reporter: that firefighter is being treated for heat exhaustion and over working. he was battling the fire and when he came out they noticed he didn't look well. he will at the hospital now and crews just left the scene to check on him and make sure he is okay. this fire broke out in the back of a garage off of almond road. six units responded, there were three units which is a one apprehension crew. the suplimental box had an extension cord attached to it and we found out the homeowner had some pet chickens. they think the homeowner might have been using a heater to keep his chickens warm.
