scandal involving a supervisor. what we learned. >> reporter: today we -- rather frank we got these court documents revealing more about the so-called other man. he was inside this san jose courthouse on unrelated drug charges and indicate there's is more to the story. steven appeared in a south bay courtroom after the chp pulled him over in september near westfield valley mall in san jose. according to documents he admitted to using methamphetamine and told the chp man i have been sober for a year and i just rel aps ed tonight. the man has been linked romanticly to a sup soup who is the wife of the straight treasurer. he said that there is a way bigger story than the sex tape referring to a report of a sex tape of the supervisor with another man. >> the distraction is the fact

of the allegations and is lights the county in a bad way and we don't necessarily appreciate that. >> reporter: at the board of sup soups meeting today the chair where locklear usually sits was empty while she seeks help at a rehab center. questions to her staff about the allegations went unanswered today. >> very issued a statement and aren't going to issue anymore. we don't know when she will come back. >> reporter: her absence was announced after she said she was attacked at this hotel early earlier this month. nobody has been charged. for steven's drug case that was postponed and he is due back next month. we contacted his lawyer and family but they didn't want to comment. maureen naylor. >> jury selection is scheduled to start monday in the abuse trial of the san francisco sheriff.

there was no court session today but yesterday he lost a major battle in his defense when the judge ruled that a videotape was add missable showing his wife with the bruise on her arm. now it hasn't been determined if one of his former girlfriends will be allowed to testify about alleged abuse in their relationship. a once highley advisable homeless camp was cleared out. the camp of tents, shelters and camp fires had been set up underneath the web of highway connectors and overpasses mainly near highway 87 not far from 280. robert honda live with the mixed emotions after the actions. >> reporter: the homeless camp was well known because people here set it up as if they planned to stay for a while. today that ended. the homeless camp set up are often filled with up to 20 people. this morning they were all deserted. caltrans issued a warning last friday, a clean up of the so-

called illegal camp would start this week. they said it had gotten complaints. >> when they are crossing the ramp to get in and out of it that is a danger to everybody. >> reporter: caltrans crews finished taking apart the camp this afternoon even removing trees they used as part of the shelter. among the items and trash we saw remnants of home life including cooking items, furniture, books, as well as indications of drug use. the clean up was a relief for many in the neighborhood who were worried about their safety and saw the threat right out their window. >> they --. >> reporter: ray and daughter britney couldn't help but watch the camp grow during the past two months, before calling for help. >> there was a lot of people that were going down the trail right here request doing drugs right here and selling drugs right here. i went to the fire department and they said they could help. >> it's sad because they have nowhere to live but i don't like them back there because you don't feel safe when you see them walk by and you are

passed a resolution calling a public nuisance. it sets up a hearing next month to give the owner and neighbors a chance to have a say. it also clears the way for work crews to go on to the property. >> now to election 2012. this is primary night in michigan and arizona. voting is still underway in arizona. in michigan most polling places closed about six minutes ago but polls will be open in some areas of michigan for another hour or so. the race has been neck and neck between romney and santorum. we don't have any numbers yet but these are live pictures michigan where romney supporters are gathering at his state headquarters. this is an important state for romney since he grew up there. they are hoping for momentum from today's primaries going into super tuesday next week when february states up for grabs including georgia, tennessee and massachusetts. now we want to move and show you a live picture from

santorum and romney. want to put up the numbers we have right now with 1% of the precincts reporting, santorum is in the lead with 44% of the votes, followed by romey with approximate 34%. gingrich who essentially didn't campaign in michigan in 4th. this is an important state. romey because he grew up there, santorum because is he trying to keep its momentum going in his campaign which has come out of nowhere and to -- now essentially tied with romney when it comes to national polls. again this is obviously very early in the race. we will continue to update these numbers throughout the newscast and on the news at six. >> san francisco company sales force announced a change of heart about a major expansion project planned for the mission bay area. david stevenson.

>> reporter: sales force.com pulled the plug on the project just three days before the planning commission would vote on it. that means the sales force workers won't be moving in to a shiny new office any time soon. it's a movement that caught an sifts and officials by surprise. sales force.com is a nouning it'll hold off build age new campus in the city's mission bay district. the company paid $270 million for the 14 acres just 14 months ago. >> i think its surprised everybody. >> reporter: plans included one to two million square feet of office space all in four multily colored buildings. with 3,000 employees now and another 2,000 expected in the coming years, they said they can't build fast enough to keep up with hiring. this means we are suspending development on the mission bay campus and instead focusing on further expansion of the downtown san francisco campus where we plan to have more than 5,000 employees in the next few

prosecutors say the 62-year-old collected rent on foreclosed homes without the knowledge of the legal owner. he would post notes, claiming ownership and also advertise the properties as rentals. he is being held on nine felony counts including grand theft. san francisco mayor ed lee joined members of the chamber of commerce to talk about jobs and business growth in san francisco. they gathered for the city beat breakfastself leaders participated in a panel discussion. the mayor had good news about the economy saying revenue was $129 million higher than expected during the first six months. he said as the mayor his first priority is to get people working. >> if i can create one job every day for someone here in san francisco, that is going to satisfy me greatly. >> he said in the past here
