john fowler, ktvu channel 2 news. our coverage continues at 5:30. live pictures outside city hall in san francisco right now. you can see there is a a large group of demonstrators. >> david stevenson is there and he will tell us where they held a teach in. police identified the man accused of stabbing his roommate to death last night. police arrested alexia bogdis after receiving a 911 call at 9:00 p.m. from that home. officers found his roommate stabbed to death inside. a motive hasn't yet been determined but he got into a argument prior to stabbing her. a teacher pleaded guilty to abusing two students. alexia bogdis was arraigned on 9 charges involving two four- year-old boys at roosevelt elementary school. she slapped, kicked and denied food and drink to the children.

alexia bogdis said i have never abused a child and i can't believe this is happening to me. she is free on bail and due in court in may. a formanter youth counsel guilty of child molestation bill be going a prison. he acescentanced yesterday to 29 years in prison. he pleaded guilty in november. he worked as a youth mental health counselor. prosecutors are not saying if he met the boys there. firefighters at university of california at berkeley made quick work of a fire at 10:15 a.m. this morning. that building houses the engineering department. police say sparks from construction equipment set a towel on fire in a lab. the fire caused minor damage.
