dave clark. officers have just confirmed this case, the overnight news, it's a murder- suicide. tara moriarty has more. what did they tell you? >> reporter: well, one neighbor said the woman in the house was giving away her family heirlooms last weekend. she received the teapot from the woman. she didn't think much about it but she realizes now looking back this could have been a sign. last my, the map who lives in the house found her son and wife shot and killed. neighbors say the man worked odd hours as a park ranger and her mother was pretty muff on own and -- pretty much on her

own caring for the son who is autistic. >> you didn't see him very much, unless he was out doing errands with them or doing gardening. the mom and the dad, wonderful people. i -- i have no words. it's very sad. my heart goes out to them, it really does. >> reporter: people in this neighborhood very shaken up. they say they just did not see this coming. we spoke again to the police and they say that the autopsies are being performed on the mother and her son this morning. we should perhaps learn a little more detail about exactly what happened here last night. live from sunnyvale, i'm tara moriarty, ktvu channel 2 news. a concord convenience store is really tightening security after last night's violent takeover robbery. ktvu's lorraine blanco joining us live. she's at the scene with a new

look at surveillance video of the suspects in the robbery. >> reporter: well, the pictures of this bold robbery are chilling. the owner is sharing them with us this morning, hoping someone out there can identify these suspects. let's get straight to the shoots. you can see a man in the red hoody pointing a gun directly at the customers. you can also see multiple customers crouching down trying to protect themselves. we're learning more information about this brazen robbery. two male suspects enter the store around 7:30 p.m. on tuesday. one pistol-whipped the store clerk on duty. another ordered customers on the ground while any grabbed their valuables. the clerk working this morning saw these pictures for the first time, she called it a living nightmare. >> that's pretty scary. i wanted to cry. i don't know. the whole thing is pretty scary. i wanted to cry when i started looking at the video.

away and sexually assault her. three teenagers were arrested accused of stomping to death a yorkshire terrier who was try -- terrier who was trying to protect the dog's owner. police say they attacked the dog's owner because they thought he was a member of a lival gang -- rival gang. police need your help. this man is missing. he has alzheimer's. he was last seen leaving his home on santa rosa avenue monday night. he's known to go to mission street between 16th and 24th. he's about 5'7", weighs about 170 pounds. look at the picture. if you have any information about him, call san francisco police. 8:05. oakland city leaders say the game is far from over in this efart to save oakland's three changer league sports teams.

welcome back. two police officers just received medals because they rescued someone from this burning car last year. their heroic actions were all captured on the police car's dash-cam camera. the car caught on fire after it crashed into a utility pole.

these officers -- i'm not kidding -- they climbed into that burning car to rescue the driver. both officers say, yeah, they are happy to it be honored but they were just doing their jobs. we now know the amount of damage done to four san francisco buildings after a weekend fire. the fire began just before 10:00 on saturday night at a vacant building near quint street. it quickly spread to three nearby buildles before firefighters -- buildings before firefighters to get it under control. they say it caused more than $2 million in damage. the cause of the fire remains under investigation. sal is back. how are we doing out there? >> we're doing okay. now, remember, south of market is gonna be busy. we have the apple event at the yerba buena center, which is near moscone. we have a street closure on plan done between 6th and 8th. an important state dignitary is visiting san francisco. they have high security in the
