fountain of youth. >> if you ask us, it's a tough way to stay young. scrub dub dub, elephant in the tub. >> feels more like a spa. >> a scrubdown that's ew-worthy. it's friday, everyone. let's get right to our top story. this is surveillance footage taken from a mcdonald's in pompano beach, florida. the guy that you see there in the burgundy shirt, he's attempting to steal from a backpack, a man in a hat. the guy trying to steal the backpack was 29-year-old patrick davis. a sheriff's deputy does show up on team. this is deputy kevin meyer. meyer gets him down on the ground. at this moment we think he's about to cuff him and make an arrest but things quickly change. >> wow. >> that guy is half the size of that deputy.

>> he just body slammed him. >> he justicked him up with what looked like super human strength, knocked offhe deputy's glasar from his cuff and his communication microphone so he couldn't call for help. look what happened. some good samaritans come to the deputy's aid. look at this person pulling davis's leg, getting him under control. another man is laying down on him physically helping the deputy get davis under control. and a third man comes in to help. these three men are being praised by the broward sheriff's office for their actions and these men were actually homeless men. >> wow. >> wow. >> they are not young guys, it looks like from this video. it looks like they are older guys. they must have that old man strength. >> as the video continues, they do get davis under control. he's cuffed and arrested and

charged. he's currently held without bail. a group of crooks is at large in alabama. wait until you get a load of how they do their dirty work. we got this video from our good friend in alabama at wbrc. this is at a raceway store in gardendale, alabama. you see the guys come in. first, they trip the alarm. but then they go back outside and they leave. they wait for the police to leave or until they have dismantled the alarm. then these guys go back in. that's when they systematically begin to rob the stores. they started with the money, went to the safe, went to the atm, got cigarettes. you know they are professionals. they are professionals. they know what they are doing. >> they stole $40,000 worth of cash and merchandise. since december there have been five stores in the birmingham metro area hit the exact same

way. >> let me get this straight. they trip the alarm and hide to investigate. the cops don't realize they are there. then the cops will leave. they go in and do whatever they want for as long as they want because cops have already investigated the scene. >> bingo, exactly. there has been similar cases in florida, georgia, tennessee, and texas. now, investigators say they break in, they do it the exact same way. they either put a hole in the back wall of the building, if it's a brick building, or if it's a tin building they will pull the tin and enter that way and patch up the hole. doesn't look like there's anybody inside which will allow them to stay inside the store robbing it blind for three to four hours. >> you know what, they seem to be running a fine-tuned operation. when they came in, they were all crouched down. they knew what they were doing. >> sunday march 11th is a pretty big day in history. it's one year after the earthquake and tsunami disaster in japan. we are all radioactive, a new

three men and one young woman who made their livelihood saying i don't care if there's radiation in the water. i don't care if the soil is contaminated. i'm going to live my life here. if i'm harmed by it -- >> they don't want to leave the area. the website "we are all radioactive.com" launches. we'll put that on our website. when you see how this ohio police officer attacks the suspect you're thinking he should be moonlighting for the cleveland browns. the officer noticed timothy erskine was going the wrong way on a roadway. he pulled him over. erskine gets out of the car and the officer pulls out his gun.

but then it didn't end there. watch what he does when he gets the driver back to the driver's side. >> that's a brave move to holster your weapon with a guy who is not complying and go headlong after him. you show this to a football coach, that's a solid form tackle. >> unfortunately the officer broke his hand but the suspect wasn't hurt. he did plead guilty to obi. listen to erskine after he was tackled. >> what did i do wrong? i ain't done nothing wrong? this guy is driving the wrong way down the street. he gets out of the car and walks a circle around the car after he is pulled over and still saying i didn't do anything wrong.

welcome back to the show. but don't forget to check in at rightthisminute.com. great videos all day long. an 80-year-old woman got into a bit of trouble when she was just trying to get her mail. she got out of the car but the car was still in reverse. the car knocked her down and neighbors were able to run in and drag her out of the way. the car wound up going in reverse in the middle of the street for 15 minutes. people couldn't stop it.

>> how did the gas pedal got stuck? >> the gas pedal doesn't need to be stuck. it's just idling in reverse. >> if you're in reverse it will start going backwards. >> a fire chief tried to go in and stop the car. he got knocked over by the door. police were able to stop the car with a patrol car. they got behind it, brought it to a stop, were able to get in and put it in park. the woman who was in her 80s suffered life threatening injuries for that. >> it wasn't one of the times when you say she was old. that's an easy mistake to make. you don't realize your car is not in park yet and you open your door. anybody can make that mistake. you know in college there was one person who had a sick pimped out dorm room. wait until you look at this. he has a hot tub in the dorm

room. 211 pound hot tub. it cost $5,000. it does fit eight people. but he says the reason he got it, he's a marathon runner and he likes to have a soak after he works out. >> that's not a hot tub. that's a boiling cesspool of bacteria. >> he had it a month before the school said no way jose. he said i checked out the handbook and it says nothing about no hot tub. he compares it to a coffeemaker. those appliances are allowed. >> you can't fit eight people in the hot tab. >> the university said here are eight reasons why you can't have this in the dorm room. it has a heater. it's not allowed for safety. if it's punctured, 211 gallons of water, you're on the second

floor. he has dismantled it. he filed an appeal with the school. he's willing to compromise. he's willing to set it up outside so everyone can use it or making it a 211 gallon aquarium. nice try, kevin. this video shows you can't trust your trends or you have to reconsider your friends. these cats are playing around with a trick. they take a coin and plays it on the forehead of one of their buddies, press on it and it sticks. the buddy on the back, falls off, laughs. look at the guy in the black jacket. he's all into the trick. he's next to take part in this. push really, really hard. stays really well. do you know what's not on his forehead? there's no coin. they are hitting themselves in the back of the head waiting.
