good morning. i'm dave clark. >> i'm tori campbell. it's monday, march 19th. investigators are looking to generate new leads in the disappearance of a 15-year-old morgue be hill girl. she was last seen heading to school. ral allie rasmus has more. >> -- allie rasmus has more. >> reporter: good morning. investigators found her cell phone. she was last seen leaving her morgan hill home supposedly heading to school but she never arrived. on friday evening, search crews started to comb for her. in one of the fields, investigators found her cell phone. it was near the side of the road t appears to have been tossed from the car. her mother said her daughter

has never run away from home before and it's not something that she would do. she said she was very crows to her sister -- close to her sister and did not mention a boyfriend or anything. >> my gut tells me something's not right. she would not intentionally leave us in limbo worrying about her like this. something isn't normal about the situation. it doesn't make sense. >> over the weekend, friends and family posted fliers with information on the missing teen. today the investigation turns to her friends. investigators plan to interview classmates of her. again, she was currently enrolled as a sophomore. but last year she attended washington high school in fremont. so investigators are gonna be going to both schools to try to gather some more information. live in morgan hill, allie rasmus, ktvu channel 2 news. 7:02. a warning for parents and

students in walnut creek. police say a suspicious man tried to lure a young girl in his car not once but twice. the first incident happened on wednesday at tise boulevard. the next day, the same girl saw the same man waving to her as she left walnut creek intermediate school. the man is white in his 60s, medium build, high cheekbones and a possible ac-- possible accent. the water has been turned off to a main in menlo park. a lot of residents out there have no water. we've been on this story since

good morning. i'm tori campbell. >> groorming. i'm dave clark. it's monday, the 19th. in the news for you right now, new concerns for a missing morgan hill teenager after her cell phone was found in a field yesterday. allie rasmus joining us live. you are outside her school in morgan hill and what do -- what do investigators plan to do next, alley? >> reporter: well, 15-year-old sierra was was last seen on friday morning supposedly on her way to school. she's a sophomore here. classes just got started a few minutes ago. so a lot of the cars just dropped off students. but sierra never made it to school. investigators and family and friends have been searching for her ever since then. we watched the investigators

pull up to the high school. the officers said their goal is to try to get any more information they can from lamar's friends and classmates. any information about the morning she disappeared. over the weekend, search crews combed through fields near -- fields two miles near her house. they found her cell phone in the fields here. her mother says had is not usual for her to do this. she sas ha nod whom, her daughter was planning to meet -- she has not said whom.

that's where water sat for several hours. it was about a foot at times as water continued to gush out there. now, the break occurred around 3:00 this morning. the crews say it could have been stress, able or -- stress, age or a malfunction. firefighters say -- now, at this time, people living in the area have very little to -- to no water pressure. it took them about three hours to battle. it -- battle it. >> with so much debris, we couldn't get the valves out. the water is still too type in
