if he should be permanently removed or reinstated. a sign in the city's mission district says in spanish, domestic violence is never a private manner. the sheriff once said his domestic violence was a private family matter. divers are headed back out tonight to wrap up prepares to a major san francisco sewer line. it broke last night between mission and tower streets. the sewer line carries 80% of the waste from the northeast side of the city to a treatment plant. san francisco officials say the divers were called in last night to do repairs from the inside, because the break is in an area that is very tough to get to. >> it's a complicated repair. we had to send a dive crew in there. we had to have people crawling in there. it's not something you're going to do from the outside.

you have to crawl into the pipe and seal it from the inside. >> the work that has within done so far has stopped the leak. water crews wrapping up their work on a water main in emeryville. another break happened about an hour later in berkeley. that affected 25 residential customers. the breaks were due to old pipes. train service is almost back to normal on the peninsula after crews made temporary repairs to a broken rail. the break was discovered at about 7:30, and trains were running on a single track. that caused minor delays, but trains are running on some trucks. southbound trains are still

the reno air racing association is moving ahead with plans for this year's race, despite last year's tragedy that killed 10 people. they're still awaiting for the faa approval of the event. the association president says it has been a tough year, but believes officials will certify the event this november. >> it's been a more strenuous task this year, because we've got a lot of concerns, and we've got a lot of concerns for our fans that were injured here last year. >> there's no word yet on what safety changes will be made. last year's catastrophe happened when a world war ii plane slammed into the stands. we have live pictures to show you a restored ship as it continues its voyage. it's a cargo ship that's 1200

an nfl trade that would have sent till tebow to new york has reportedly hit a last- minute snag. the language in tebow's contract is causing some complications in the teams being able to complete that trade. the jets were to receive tebow in exchange for 4th and 6th round draft picks the broncos signed peyton manning. the new mexico came down very hard today on the new orleans saints. sean peyton is being suspended without pay as well as the former defensive coordinator indefinitely. the saints organization was also find $500,000 and will lose two draft picks. the league says punishments for any saints players will be determined at a later date. a group of 9th graders went to a program aimed at

charges are still pending for the army sergeant accused of gunning down 16 afghan civilians. sergeant bales is still being held. the death penalty is possible but not likely. there is no evidence he had been diagnosed or treated for post-traumatic stress disorder, although his attorney is suggesting he may make ptsd a key to the case. two investigations are underway after army brass learned that more than 300ptsd cases were reversed. that's home base of sergeant bales. >> we want to make sure that where this was inappropriate, it was an isolated case.
