stalking a little girl. tara? >> well, this little girl did the right thing, she ran away both times, that is the good news and she was able to get a description to police. now the second time she had an encounter with him right here off of civic drive, she was parked in a car at the intersection and when she came off the trail she noticed him waving to her. now with a trail where she was walking behind me, it is called iron horse trail. if we take a look at the sketch police have provided, the alleged stalker is 6-foot tall, medium build and the contra coster office wanted you to look at them. he was driving an older model disabled plaque hanging from the rearview mirror.

the first time she was approached, she was getting off the bus on crest avenue after classes, that is when the man walked up alongside of her. when he asked where she lived, she ran off and the driver ran away. police say if you do recognize this man, they definitely want you to contact them. tara moriarty, ktvu channel 2 morning news. new this morning, the 32 hour standoff between french police and an accused mass murderer is over. we have live pictures from the scene, emergency vehicles spread out throughout that neighborhood. tired of waiting, police finally stormed in just about an hour ago. coming up in ten minutes, we will tell you how the suspect died while trying to escape from police and plus the search for possible accomplices. well the mother of a missing morgan hill teen is now

asking land owners to search their properties for clues in her disappearance. friends and family held this vigil and prayed for the safe return of sierra lemar. she has not been seen since friday when she left forel school. >> as each day comes it is longer and longer and it is more like -- it is like more real and i just want her back. >> this is video of sierra lemar dancing. she was only nine years old. no significant evidence is turned up from her cell phone or laptop but a search is going on. another vigil is planned for sierra lamar for tomorrow night. the death of a san francisco man he went missing on a bike tour in death valley. his body was found right near the campsite where he was staying. he was an avid cyclist and

personal trainer. he said he appeared to be off balance and fell three times just during a warmup ride. lights have gone out for hundreds in vallejo and we hear today will not be the only day spent without lights. claudine wong joins us with some of the working that is being done out there, claudine wong? >> reporter: yes, we are at the ice cream and candy shop and as you can see, lights are on and we do expect that to change at 8:00 this morning. he is not sure his pour will did out so since we can't do business without power it is likely the closed sign will stay up. this outage is affecting 70 people and another couple hundred in a neighborhood a few blocks away. it is expected to stay on until 4:30 this afternoon.

why? pg&e is replacing an old power poll and to do that they need to turn the lights off. this business will be affected and we just got a facebook message from one of our viewers who said, he was going to telecommute today and now he has to drive in because he obviously can't do that if he doesn't have power. guess what, just about a half hour affects 160 people, just enough time to make you reset your clocks. this is something people are a veil of today. they are making plans to deal with it but in vallejo, i am claudine wong ktvu channel 2 morning news. crews spent the night patching up the leak, this is what we were telling you about yesterday during the morning news. workers have to bring their own oxygen supplies to protect themselves from the gases

there. the leak is about 1,000 feet from the top of the manhole cover on mission street. this is a great story happening right now, a free health clinic is now open right inside the oakland coliseum. hundreds of people are lined up outside when the doors opened at 5:30 look at all the folks. they are providing dental cleanings and fix along with doing eye exams and prescription eyeglasses are made right there on-site, free. foundations and donors are making this four-day event possible. coming coming up at 6:30 we will bring you a live report from oakland. i am just curious, is it causing some traffic issues this morning? >> well, yesterday they got out

of there, and they opened up the lanes. now they are trying to figure out if they got back out there again and as soon as we know, we actually have a low-tech way of knowing. i give them a call and see what is going on. let's look at the commute. some sometimes low technical waves are good. westbound bridge, it is getting a delay, not a big delay onto the bridge either. moving onto the san mateo bridge, this traffic looks good if you are driving on the san mateo bridge. moving along, traffic is still looking good and across the bay not a major problem. as we move off we get off to a decent start, let's go to mark. we have some sprinkles this morning, santa rosa, some light rain, you can see not much in the way of coverage and moving towards the st. helene in which is just about it.

hair, pierced ears and speaks with an accent. he was driving an old sedan with a disabled plaque from the rearview mirror. the first time she encountered this man was wednesday. she was getting off the bus on crest avenue. that is when the man pulled up alongside asked how long she was walking an offered her a ride. when he asked her where she lived, she ran off and he sped away. what strikes you as odd about the case is the distance between the two cases. they are really very far apart so police think he had to be watching her every move. ktvu channel 2 morning news. in oakland police, police are searching for a u hall truck. somebody fired shots and a man was shot in the hip and chest.

we don't know his condition but we do know he was awake and responsive when he was awake. they did not find any signs of robbery. bodies of a mother and father have been found in an apparent murder/suicide. late last night the coroner's office removed two bodies. they got a call from the couple's teenage daughter. she found her parents in a bedroom. both had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene. now the names of the parents have not been released. police say they were in their 40s and had two children. >> i am in shock, i am devastated. my heart feels broken and there is something in my stomach, i can't explain the feeling. >> police are searching for clues to try to figure out why this happened. happening right now, a free
