multiple murders. we weren't allow to show his face in court today as he requested a public defender. >> reporter: he committed the murders friday. ktvu obtained two pictures. this is from when he was sent to prison in 1997 for robbery. this 2005 picture shows him one year before he was patrolled. binh tai luc was arrested thursday with his brother. in court, the defender argued his office should respect binh tai luc. prosecutors say it is a conflict of interest because they represent his brother. they say he will be a witness in his brother's murder trial.
