security checkpoint. he never did get on the plane. he spent several hours investigating the discovery. now they are slowly getting back to normal. new this morning, protesters took over an oakland school board meeting. we have exclusive pictures behind the protest, here is tara. >> reporter: they were circulating and they are talking about a rally and sit in that happened near the building where they made their case. police arrested 10 folks who refused to leave and they took them out in handcuffs at midnight. school board members had left earlier and officers moved in.

they are demanding they reaccident the -- resince the decision to close the schools and he said they are packed so he does not understand the school board's decision. >> first it was because they were losing money and since everything was done in the dark, here we are. >> protesters say the school board was supposed to vote last night on a plan to release santa fe and turn it over to a charter school. they say it should remain public schools and now there will be meeting again at 1:00 this afternoon and they will face a $500 fine and face up to six months in county jail. some college students plan to protest this morning at the uc.

if f campus and the demonstrators fear it could go up by as much as 15%. they asked them to endorse governor brown's tax initiative and he said they could face another $200 million in cuts if that measure does not pass. in overnight news, bullets were flying again in oakland during another violent night. they were investigating three separate shootings and one was fatal. it does knows appear they were fatal. christian captain is now talking to witnesses and he will be back to give us details coming up at 6:30. >> it has now been 13 days since sierra lemar disappeared while walking to her school bus stop. and he is telling us where they are today and where they are focusing their efforts.

>> reporter: good morning, dave, the search is moving on two fronts. they will be gathering at the elementary school in morgan hill to continue their search near morgan hill, looking for any evidence and at the same time the santa clara sheriff's office is shifting their focus to nearby bodies of water, reserviors and creaks. they searched two other reservoirs as well and they are expected to search another lake as well and they are using a specially trained canine. >> there is no diving going on at this point. the dive teams are going to dive if needed. they will have specially trained canine dogs and they detect human remains inside the water. >> she has not been seen since her purse was found near morgan

an elderly couple died in the fire which was a controlled burn, the fire is said to be started by a controlled burn. a massive undercover circumstance, the shooting happened yesterday near the hilltop mall. investigators say the trouble began when undercover agents approached three young men to buy guns. >> three suspects pose add threat to our acts. shots were fired and a suspect -- our agents. shots were fired and a suspect was shot. >> now that suspected to survive. people living in nearby apartments took photos of the arrests. all of the men were in their late teens early 20s.

demonstrator. they used batons on those who refused to take down their camp. a man accused two east bay lawmakers of exploiting the demonstration for political gain. lanni hancock had expressed his support for the demonstrators. we are learning they will likely stick with the decision to close doyle park. they will open a french american charter school in its place. last week they demanded the board rescind its decision because they had a conflict of interest. he said he is interested in having his children attend the school. the school board said there is no illegal decision to close. they decided to install

1,000 parking meters in the downtown area. these downtown meters will accept credit cards as well. they are more user friendly because drivers will not have to wait for a receipt or even remember a parking space number. sal, any problems for the commute we should know about? >> you know this is the first day we started off dry and you are beginning to see how much better it is. winds are not gusting like it was the other day and it is having a positive affect. now let's not get too happy, you will see slowed traffic in some usual spots but as i look at the chp's list, there are not a lot of crashes here, there are a few. i will mention them.

investigating three separate shootings, christian captain has more. >> reporter: when we arrived we had our first report at 4:30 there was a heavy police presence and many have now left. i actually spoke with a witness who lived in this apartment building. he did tell me he heard the victim of the father saying my father has been shot. we are here where the victim staggered down the street and police tell me they have found some blood evidence near the back end of that pickup truck and that the victim finally managed to make it here to this apartment building where he collapsed near this corner. police have identified tyron, a father of four and at least bunch his children may have been here at the time.

there was 'argument started and there have been no arrests and suspects and nobody from the neighborhood is talking to police about the shooting. meanwhile police are investigating another victim who was shot in the head. it happened on hamilton and in that case the victim was able to walk three quarters of a block to get help. he was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. finally a third incident, a third man also shot in the head. the victim in that case may have taken him and shot him in the skull. he is reported in stable condition. all three incidents, i have been trying to get in contact to confirm all three incidents are not connected and they say they don't appear to be connected but we are still working on finding out more

since all three sented a heat indices and it does not appear they are connected. new surveillance video of the arrest of george zimmerman from the night he shot and killed trayvon martin. you can see george zimmerman in handcuffs being taken into the florida police station. you can also get a clear shot of george zimmerman's face and his head. why does it say this is good for their case. they accidentally fired off a gun in their classroom. it happened near the end of the school day and the school district says, a bullet lent took them apple later detained him outside of campus but did not recover a gun.

yesterday afternoon -- it happened yet afternoon, -- yesterday afternoon, police want you to take a close look. it shows a bank robber who gave the teller a note demanding money. they handed over an undisclosed amount of cash but it is still not clear if this robber had a gun. it turned out to and false alarm. no emergency crews were called there just after 8:00, after a suspicious package was found. a bomb squad was called in and they tested the package. workers were allowed back into the area but not until 10:00 last night. it has been dropped at least for now. food truck operators opposed the plan from cooperating them from 1,500
