members. the rescue operation took place 300 miles off the coast and you can see the seas were very choppy. a big ship pulled up close to the sailboat and coast guard members took boats to the yacht, they had cracked ribs and needed medical care. a rogue wave slammed into their boat and that is how the two injured crew members got hurt. they are now on their way back to coast guard island. >> very uncomfortable, like you i am looking at the photos and i am thinking thank goodness we got them off the yacht and right now medical specialists are cooperating them comfortable and we are all happy they are safe. >> there are a total of 10 and they were on the trip from china to oakland. is it expected to maybe its way

back to oakland later today and the coast guard is coming back to coast guard island sometime this afternoon. right now a high surf advisory is still in effect for the bay area. these are high surfs that are expected until 11:00 this morning. most of the biggest waves peaked overnight but you should still be careful. overnight, police are investigating a homicide in san francisco. it happened on the interstate 280. so far police are not saying much about the case but police did say the victim was in his 20s. they did close out the investigation and this is where
