he's been very cooperative with us. he, unfortunately, has not shown any remorse. >> investigators reveal what they are learning from the suspect from yesterday's mass shooting. good afternoon, i'm tori campbell. more information is being released today on the shooting rampage that killed seven people and wounded three others. at this hour, investigators are back at the scene of the

shooting at oikos university in oakland. among the unanswered questions today, is what happened to the gun used in the massacre? police hope to learn the answer with the search that you see here. we have team coverage. paul chambers is following the waterfront search but we begin with tara moriarty at the school. tara? >> reporter: well, investigators say that the gunman has confessed through the shooting. they are describing this as a very cold and calculated move by him. they say that crime -- crime scene technicians have been here all morning. they've been combing through the building that you see behind me. the classroom, they've been dusting it for evidence. this is how it all unfolded yesterday morning. police say 43-year-old one goh sprayed one room with bullets. witnesses say he lined his victims up in front of a chalkboard, like a firing squad, shooting several people

at close range. oakland's police chief told ktvu this morning this was an attack that goh had listen been planning for weeks. he was -- had been planning for weeks. he was disgruntled for being kicked out. he bought a gun. >> he was disgrunted. he was distraught about the fact that he didn't speak very good english and the people in the school, other students made fun of him. >> reporter: now, we spoke to reverend kim, a teacher here at oikos for the past 20 years. he just learned about the shooting this morning. the school is closed indefinitely. meanwhile, we did speak to the alameda county d.a. office's. they say it's too early to tell if prosecutors will speak the death penalty in this case. but we should be learning something from the district attorney this afternoon. tara moriarty, ktvu channel 2 news. >> thank you, tara. the identities of those who lost their lives in the shooting are slowly being

drive -- doolittle driver. paul chambers is there -- drive. paul chambers has more. >> reporter: good afternoon, tori. that boat is the focus of the search. there is also a police search out here. investigators say goh is not telling them exactly where he threw the gun. that's causing them problems but leads led them to the specific area. that's why police will be out here all day long looking for that deadly weapon. >> the most important thing is that we want to protect the public and having a firearm somewhere in our community is something that we want to make sure that we locate. we want to remove it from wherever it is. >> reporter: now, investigators are using this robot with sonar on loan from the san francisco police department to search the waterway along the martin luther king, junior regional park in oakland. police say goh may have thrown the gun into this body of water

after shooting ten people and before turning himself in at the shopping center in alameda. so investigators are search by air, on the water and underneath the water with a robot connected to the boat. investigators say this sonar is very sensitive. investigators will also use another piece of equipment from san francisco police during today's search. >> it can defect items on the floor. additionally, is bringing over their -- san francisco is bringing over their police boatle so we'll have two sonar activations. >> reporter: now, the oakland police boat is out here looking for the gun. they will continue to search the water until they found the gun or they find out this is

not the spot. we'll stay on top of this story and bring you the very latest as it develop, especially on ktvu.com. live in oakland, i'm paul chambers, ktvu channel 2 news. >> all right. thank you, paul. we have an update now on those who survived yesterday's mass shooting. all three of the wounded victims have now been released from oakland's highland hospital. one 19-year-old woman was able to walk out of the hospital yesterday afternoon. a highland hospital spokeswoman says the last survivor was able to go home last night. details continue to emerge about the suspected gunman. one goh reportedly faced a long list of deaths in virginia, where he lived before moving here. there are a lot of liens filed against him, including eviction from an apartment where he owed

$00 -- $13,000. he od other debt totaling $30,000 although he paid some of that off. you can go to our website for more information. san francisco police are looking for suspects deadly overnight shooting in the city's western division. a news crew was there moments after the shooting at eddie late last night. there were at least a dozen shell casings on the ground. the male victim died. witnesses spotted three racing away from the scene in a black sedan. it's still not clear what led up to the gunfire. oakland police are investigating a rolling gun battle with shooters in two different cars. it happened last night on 85th avenue and b street. investigators say someone with stray bullets went no a home with three children inside. no one was hurt. police showed ktvu news some of the bullets connected at the crime scene. at this point, there's no

information on suspects or a possible motive. voters are heading to the  polls in three spots today to cast their ballots to for the republican presidential candidate. mitt romney is hoping for a clean sweep as he turns his focus away from gop rivals. >> president obama's failure, his inability get this economy working for the american people is something we need to be talking about day in and day out. >> if romney wins today in wisconsin, maryland and washington, d.c., he would have more than half of the delry gets he needs to get the nomination. that would increase pressure on the other candidates to drop out. in the meantime, rick santorum trails mitt romney by a wide margin and admits there is a slim chance for a win over mitt romney. he's also looking ahead to the pennsylvania primary where he leads mitt romney by a small

allie rasmus, ktvu channel 2 news. the fbi is expanding its investigation into the shooting death of trayvon martin. agents are questioning witnesses in the case to determine whether martin's civil rights were violated. neighborhood watch captain george zimmerman shot and killed martin more than a month ago in florida. zimmerman has claimed self- defense and has not been arrested. we're getting an enhanced look at surveillance video showing zimmerman the night he shot and killed the teenager. this video came out last my. it appears to show -- knight. this appears to show zimm -- night. this appears to show no injury to him but this image shows a possible injury on the back of his head. zimmerman claims martin jumped him from behind, punched him in the nose pushed his head in the sidewalk. last month a state appeals court ruled against the

this to give very light rain. temperatures are surprisingly really close. 58 to 60. take your pick. everyone is within a degree or two with each other. the system will keep it slightly cooler ta. this cold air is going to hang around for a while. high clouds today, 50s and 60s for temperatures. by this evening, the system comes in. but it might give light rain well to the north. but turning colder. that's the main message there. as we head into wednesday, thursday, and friday. hazy, high clouds here for a while. filtered sun. more clouds as that system gets closer. highs, 60s for some. upper 50s low to mid-60s. and then temperatures will kind of hang out in this direction. i tell you, i think yesterday was the warm day. we'll see an increase in the higher clouds. clouds and cooler conditions. there could be very, very light rain coming in and that would be tomorrow and then after
