because of his age. turday arrested on manslaughter morning that killed a 41-year- old and his 9-year-old daughter but it could still be weeks before is he formerly charged with anything. authorities had to let him go. reacting to the driver's release today the familye mailed us a statement that read in part, we know this country has a justice system put in place and we respect is. that's why are you families moved here 27 years ago. they said at this time we are focused on being a family and laying our loved ones to rest and letting the police do their jobs. despite some of the outrage and questions about whether this 17- year-old driver was distracted at the time police are analyzing the evidence before they can make a recommendation to prosecutors. steps they are taking include redoing the crash to understand the ask event that led up to it, doing a review of witness

the toxic ingredients in nail polish. >> a new report finds preschoolers are felling the pinch of state budget cuts. . funding cuts are eroding the quality of state helped programs. the last one cut it by $70 million. currently california's state preschools are under preforming. they meet just three of the required bench marks. with the april tax deadline less than a week away teacher's unions say they want to see corporations pay their fair share to help students. according to the national education association at least seven corporate tax loopholes need to be closed. if they are they say that money could berrien put into pell grants and that would let more than a million low income students here in california to get enough federal help to cover half the cost of college.
