they just cleared an accident, let's go back to dave and pam. a divorce battle has led to a tragedy in petaluma. it is a murder/suicide right outside a downtown law office, tara? >> reporter: when she came to meet with her divorce attorney she had no idea her husband was planning to kill her and himself at that very moment which happened right outside her law offices and her lawyer watched the whole thing happen. this is from yesterday afternoon. her estranged husband shot and killed her right at the front of this office on keller street and then turned the gun on himself. when police arrived they found the two and thought a third person might be involved. they questioned her lawyer and

questioned him. they found kim had been living with her parents and gave no indication that he would do something this horrible and this extreme. >> i have been this petaluma my whole life and used to hang out with kevin and in the beginning of our separation we used to go play pool and hang out. >> and the twins were nearby when the shooting happened but were not hurt. kim also has two teenage daughters and she currently was a 2nd grade teacher at the elementary school. we will be there as teachers and students are receiving the horrible information about this tragedy. a 17-year-old san jose girl is in custody of child protective services after police found her parents dead. a man shot her parents dead and

then himself. the daughter was found unharmed inside a car just a couple of feet away. so far they have not released the name of the man or woman nor any other details of that shooting. in overnight news, police are looking for the arsonist responsible for a dangerous car fire. they were on the scene and take a look, this is just months after it broke out. the fire was so intense it forced the evacuation of a nearby apartment building. they say the fire was so intense it was intentionally set. it has now been one month since the disappearance of sierra lemar. the family is planning to gather and pray for her safe return tonight, allie? >> reporter: that's right, pam, we are at the intersection of

pam and. nobody has seen sierra lemar since she disappeared and they are trying to find clues in her disappearance. her friends and family will hold a prayer vigil at burnett elementary. they have been headquarters of trying to find her and it has been massive, hundreds of people have gathered to set out in morgan hill to look for clues in sierra lemar's days appearance. however volunteers have not found anything cogged to the investigation. investigators believe she was kidnapped but they have not found anything related to an abduction or crime. the only items they found was a

back to make an emergency landing. the emergency was due to some kind of technical problem on the jet. now the plane did land safely. it had 13 crew members on board. it was on its way to orlando florida when it turned back two hours into the flight. the sister of middleton's friend pointed a gun at a photographer. she was riding in a car with three male friends when the driver aimed what appears to be a pistol at the photographer. the incident happened in paris where there has already been a lot of tension. she and her pals could face jail time even if it turns out to be a fake gun. the nfl turns out to be a

in the end, nobody appeared to be hurt. this was across over suv that happened on foot hill boulevard. they to have evidence that this suv was set on fire and the reason they are saying that is because the fire started near the cabin of the suv and not near the engine. that is why they believe they are dealing with an arsonist. it is unclear who it belongs to but they are trying to figure out who the arsonist is who intentionally torched an suv, live in oakland alex savage ktvu channel 2 morning news. police are also searching for suspects in an overnight shooting. police found the victim outside popeye's fast-food restaurant. witnesses say the young man was banging on the restaurant window banging for help.

police say he stumbled to the restaurant from that shooting scene. several bullet cases were found and the victim was rushed to the hospital where he is expected to survive. a woman's visit to a divorce laurened in a tragedy. it handed out side a downtown law office, tara? >> reporter: well, friends say kim conover was stopped by her husband. she came to her attorney's office but what she didn't realize was that kevin conover came here armed with a gun. police say 41-year-old kevin conover shot and killed 43-year- old kim and shot her and then killed himself. the attorney witnessed the entire murder/suicide. friends are concerned because

your shoulder at the damage, we know they had advance warning and it's obvious it was accurate but we are hearing reports that sirens did not go off in the town is that true? >> that is absolutely true. >> reporter: we just spoke with a resident who lived in this house behind me and they said they just had two minutes before running into their house into safety into the middle of their house and they heard something faintly in the distance and didn't hear any sirens go off and that's because a transmitter was knocked off the power lines and those sirens did not warn people but in terms of forecasting this days ahead but they knew it was going to come but they didn't know it was going to hit just moments before it hit their home.

we are following developing news out of england, the gatwick airport is now open after a flight had to turn back to make an emergency landing. investigators say the emergency landing was due to some technical problem on board the jet. it was headed to or land tow florida when it turned back two hours into the flight. they had to be closed for 90 minutes this morning but again it is back open and the only thing we know is that there is some kind of technical problem on board. last time we saw you, it was getting busy at the toll plaza. it is getting busy and you will see a little bit of a crowd developing and those metering lights are on and it's a 10 minute delay before making it on to the bridge.

to tell us about the emotional gathering that is planned for tonight, allie? >> reporter: well there is a flier on every post as the this intersection. this is where sierra lemar was supposed to catch the bus on march 16th, one month ago and nobody has seen her since then. they are hosting a prayer vigil at 6:30. in the past few weeks hundreds of people have gathered to head out and search for clues in her disappearance. so far individuals have not found anything and last team the search came out lower than in the past. but organizers are not losing their discouragement. >> it is not depressing in any way for the volunteers or the
