after 9:30 a.m. this morning. the marine parole received a call and there were people injured. they launched a rescue mission to the boat. when they arrived one person had a minor head injury. >> we were doing 15 miles per hour and hit a shallow sand bar. everybody went flying. >> unclear how many people were unboard. the boat was in such shallow water and they will have to wait for high tide to retrieve it. shooting that left one man fighting for his life, this happened at midnight. investigators say the victim was shot after a altercation with another man. he was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.

no word on motives. officials identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash in san francisco as michael butler. butler struck the center divider on 101 yesterday morning and that is when he was thrown from his bike. new information is surfacing about the carjacking suspect shot and killed last week in sacramento. family say jimmy lee graves had a criminal past and struggled with addiction and he had a 5- year-old son. he was shot friday at sacramento apartment after he committed a series of carjackings, one that ended in a crash. pg&e disclosed a newly discovered document from 1989 showing the pipeline that exploded in san bruno had a history of problems.

the pg&e document said it had previous weld failures. a 1989 investigation into a leak about 9 miles south of where the san bruno explosion occurred. the same failure sited in the san bruno disaster. the commission looking into san francisco sheriff ross mirkarimi's case is scheduled to begin tomorrow. the panel is set to decide how it will hear witnesses and view testimony. they will make a recommendations to the board of supervisors which will decide his fate. he says he has no intention of stepping down. mayor ed lee suspended ross mirkarimi two days after he pled guilty. supervisors are set to meet tuesday to accept nadia

. the fbi and the u.s. marshals are assisting police in arizona for the search for a missing six-year-old girl. the parents put her to bed friday night, when they woke up she was goned. they searched for -- she was gone. they searched for clues and investigators were looking into the possibility that she just wandered off. they are treating it as a
