released from jail. george zimmerman's attorneys spent the weekend trying to secure the money and trying to find a place for zimmerman to stay. the lefty o' doul bridge will be shut down starting tomorrow. details will be available during the project which is expected to wrap up on friday. just in time for the giants to take on the san diego padres. parts of doyle drive meantime will be completely shut down this week. the busy approach to the golden gate bridge is scheduled to be closed on friday night until 8:00 until 5:00 monday morning. traffic on highway 101 and highway 1 will be detoured on the highway road during the closure. during the weekend closure, traffic will be transferred on to a new seismically safe bypass.

american airlines is heading to court tomorrow prompting protest by employees across the country and here in the bay area. the airline is trying to toss out labor contracts with its employee unions. it has said it needs to get rid of the contracts so it can emerge from bankruptcy. american is also proposing eliminating as many as 14,000 jobs. employees are expected to protest tomorrow's hearing. and a demonstration is planned at san francisco airport beginning at 11:00 tomorrow morning. as ktvu's ken pritchett reports, a san francisco restaurant known for good food was among the tpáers -- first to get a facelift. >> reporter: this is geo's rest rapt where today owners, giep and wife linda worked on the kitchen.

two children in the truck escaped unharmed. the man was taken to the hospital for treatment of second degree burns. we're learning more about the carjacking suspect who was shot and killed last week by a sacramento county sheriff deputy. according to the sacramento bee, 28-year-old jimmy graves had a criminal past and struggled with addiction. according to his family graves had a 5-year-old son. deputies fatally shot graves at an apartment after police say he committed a series of carjackings one of which ended in a crash that caused a huge back up. tehran claims it is building a cop pip of the u.s. drone. they found it had flown surveillance over the compound of where osama bin laden lived. the u.s. defense department though would not comment on the
