on fox 13 in salt lake city. one day a u.s. forest service officer was doing a routine check of big springs trail in utah when he came aacross a certain contraption. one was meant for a hiker to trip on. once he did that it would trigger a spiked ball to swing across the hiker's direction. another part of the booby trap, the hiker would fall on the twigs. when they enter the part called the fort, they would enter these traps. >> investigating wildlife. >> after investigating, facebook led authorities to two young men, 21-year-old kai matthew christianson and benjamin ratowski. they were arrested, admitted

to booby traps. they said they did it for fun. >> when you're 17 you know spikes will hurt. that's medieval. >> here is what they had to say. >> that could have been us. we could have gotten hurt for no reason. >> that could kill people. it's awful and sickening people would do things. >> they set these april 15th. the officers found the traps on april 16th. both men were booked on suspicion of reckless endangerment and face misdemeanor charges. had someone been hurt by this, they would be facing felony charges. couple jumps into their car in arlington tech tex, texas, t kxas. they shut the door, went for a drive. the problem is this car belongs to police. >> a big car. >> you're right. it's a big car.

college students across the country cramming for finals, man. stressful time of the year. libraries are packed. supposed to keep it quiet in the library. this is not exactly quiet. 1:40 a.m. fsu campus, the library, a guy with a beard confront a guy in basketball shorts. throws a punch. then after what looks like some sort of tango, a full on brawl breaks out between these two guys. this is because, you know, the guy in the basketball shorts stole the bearded guys study buddy. >> arguing pythagorem theorem? >> one guy taking the video

takes a guess why they are fighting. at one point they slam down on this table and like a printer is broken or something. one guy is like, you broke the printer. the one guy picks up the printer they broke. the fight continues. eventually one girl starts to get in the way and says you guys are being stupid. >> now they broke a printer and students need this printer. >> eventually fsu police did show up and take the bearded guy away in cuffs. no word on what happened to the guy. >> i hope the girl they were fighting over is worth it. >> they never are. >> like a printer in the wind.

we're going to busch gardens for a celebration. >> our-year-old cheetah and puppy. >> this is not unusual to put a canine with a cheetah because male cheetahs are social and you have a cheetah in captivity, they like to put a dog with it because they like a friend. >> everyone likes a cheetah and a dog, does it make sense? it does. they have similar behavioral patterns. >> they have been growing up since they were babies, that's all they know. >> we put them together for the first time last year, he was 6 weeks old, he was 12 weeks old. >> they probably think they look like the other one.

oreo is gigantic. the couple who owned him had a bit of a emergency with the dog. >> she collapsed, fell against the wall and to the ground. >> they called 911. within minutes an emergency service vehicle was there. immediately one of the workers said there's a huge problem here. >> she got to the middle of the room and she seen oreo and she threw her hands up and said, it's a dog. are you kidding me. >> you don't call 911 for a dog. >> one of the ambulance workers did give the dog oxygen and take him to an emergency clinic but it was too late. they passed away. they refer to her as their third daughter. close to the animal. within 24 hours they showed up at the home with a ticket. >> why? >> it was a medical emergency. instead of a person it was a dog.
