hours before police raided it and came up with a million dollars worth of pot. >> you can see, high powered weapons. >> reporter: these reflect drugs worth millions. 33-gallon bags holding 50 pounds of dried processed pot and that is not all. >> one of the largest marijuana recoveries in recent years in oakland. >> reporter: ktvu has video of s.w.a.t. team members that brought the front gate down. video shows team members arriving. today he said on top of the processed pot, they recovered 2500 plants, $40,000 in cash and weapons. >> and the risk was high enough that we initiated a s.w.a.t. call out. we were concerned because of information we had in terms of the weapons that was inside the

equipment inside. the operators were heavily armed. 6 guns were found and they found body armor and armored masks. family survived a home invasion this afternoon. happened about 3:30 this afternoon in a mobile home park in pittsburg. they were home with their father with armed men stormed into. they robbed the family and pistol whipped the father. >> there is six guys with guns and my dad is on the porch banging on the door and i hear my brother shoveling around, where is the money. >> the robbers took their cell phones and ran off. the family has no idea why they were targeted. the father was taken to the hospital. the deadly yacht accident near the farallon island prompted the coast guard to cancel all

he may be the most well loved person, that is why there is so much sadness today. >> can't imagine anybody would do that to him. just hard to imagine that, you know? >> reporter: authorities say he was riding his tricycle when he was beaten, stabbed and left on the road. a man found him. >> doesn't make any sense. >> reporter: his mother said her mother is in intensive care. he says he doesn't remember what happened. 10 years ago a drunk driver struck his car leaving him partially paralyzed and with a brain injury. >> anything that happens to him, it is just a milestone.

occupy protesters are planning demonstrations in oakland on may 1. protesters will converge on downtown oakland for a rally then they will march to the barts station for a immigration rights rally. it is part of a mayday occupy general strike across the country. the mayday rally will have a new alley today. ktvu's robert handa is live in the san jose area with the big push behind the protest this year. >> reporter: that big push by groups is to put immigration reform back in the national spotlight. today many groups began sending out messages promoting the san jose march and this year it
