give this brand-new stretch and in the south direction you will not have any problems. let's show you what it looked like. you can see there is still a kuhai curve and there are a lot of electronic signs and call trans wants people to take it easy as they navigate the new roadway. it is spacious and there are five lanes of traffic and there is a movable concrete barrier and you can see it on the left of your screen. cal trans will switch north and southbound lanes during rush hours. we asked people who experienced it this morning for the first time what they thought about the new one. >> reporter: how is it better? >> much wider and more lights
