cab and starts stomping on the cab. this is where it gets graphic. the cabby claims that he was acting in self-defense. >> oh, oh, oh. >> oh. >> he ran over his head. >> never seen anything like that. >> that man is in the hospital. he is in serious condition but he is expected to recover from his injuries. the cabby took off. police have apprehended that man, a 47-year-old cab driver arrested on an allegation of assault with a weapon. a different view of the same incident from a balcony. you can hear the man taking his video, yelling at these people -- >> get out of there. >> oh! >> i told you guys to get out of there. >> from this vantage point, it gives you a completely different perspective. he had more than one opportunity to just leave the scene. >> it sounds like he guns it. >> everybody was wrong in that situation. you know, it is a fight that got out of hand.

both sides acted aggressively and made poor decisions. >> oh, oh, oh. >> the video i am about to show you is blowing up on the internet and in mexico everyone is talking about it, because it captures the moment a man is pursued, beaten and kidnapped. >> one of the first networks to show this is televisa in mexico. on twitter, people are using the hash tag reynosafollow to talk about this video. it shows a man running across a very busy boulevard in reynosa, mexico. he starts driving against the flow of traffic, crosses all the lanes to the other side. all of the sudden, you see all the men running across the other side of this boulevard and then they start beating this man. the beatdown continues until eventually it looks like he just goes unconscious. >> they could have killed him for sure. >> i cannot believe how many

people are just kind of slowing down looking and then they are just watching and moving on. >> what do you want them to do? are you going to stop? are you going to stop? i'm not going to stop if i'm by myself and i see eight guys. i may call 911 but i'm not getting out of the car. >> what is more remarkable, the guy shooting this video continues shooting in a way putting his own life in danger. finally, whether the man seems to be unconscious, they all pick him up, drop him, drag him over to a truck, load him up. it looks like they are using a lug wrench to continue beating on the guy. this man that you see standing on the other side of the sidewalk, the anchor at televisa says he is just a witness. the video was reportedly seen sometime later on the outskirts of reynosa by some citizens. we got this video from action 4 news in arlin general, texas. surveillance video from the home of a mccallen, texas man.

>> they did get a pretty good image of the t-shirt this guy was driving. he came across the street from a neighbor's house that he says was having a party. so what garza hopes is that people from the party will cooperate and take a look at the surveillance video and maybe identify this man. so far, no one has come forward. >> this makes me want to drive a pinto. >> when you have a truck barreling straight for you, one of the reactions you wouldn't think to take would be to duck, right? that's what actually saved a little girl's life in china. this is in china, a bunch of schoolchildren crossing the street. a truck comes barreling through an intersection. there is one girl, the last in line, right in the way of this truck. watch what she does. she ducks down and manages to fit in that little area beneath the truck. >> it is like a stunt man stunt. the truck jackknifes and she just fits right between the

tires. >> you are seeing the girl in this video here walked away about just minor scrapes. >> i bet her pride is probably hurt more than her body. >> the truck was carrying a bunch of sand and stone too. so you can imagine the weight behind this thing. what could have been really ugly. the father said it was quite frightening when i saw the video. i thought she couldn't survive. she not only survived she also totally walked way from this thing. >> are those crayons on the ground? >> looks like maybe some crayons fell out of her bag. i guess she was coming back from school. >> she like ran faster into the path of this truck? >> yeah. i think she thought it was going to stop. she is pretty young. >> it could have been so much worse. a car zooming down the road but then kind of veers just off the road enough to hit that sign and send it flying. >> yep, but just wait until you

what happened over the weekend, palmerfest. >> an annual block party that happens in athens, ohio, in the palmer neighborhood, mainly made up of ohio university students. this was shot by sway the crowds production, a student-run production company. they started shooting this video just as palmerfest got out of control. this house you see right here in the middle of your screen, it was on fire. >> they set it on fire? >> investigators say they believe someone broke into the basement of the home and set it

on fire. >> someone is there and the basement is on fire. everybody starts laughing. i'm like, oh, hey, my keys are up there and then my friend took off. this is crazy. >> somebody needs to auto tune that right now. >> the best sound bite in the history of tv. >> they were able to get everyone out of the house. no one was injured. the house is now uninhabitable. it gets worse. people were throwing bottles according to reports at the firemen as they were trying to put out the fire so the mayor ended up declaring this area a riot area and they had the entire area cleared. >> i'm not surprised. because, in essence, these kids are attacking the officers that are there trying to help the situation. >> this is why don't you go to the next street over, anderson street and make it andersonfest. >> they are hoping to catch the person that they believe set the

did you guys hear about this plane crash in the mexican desert? >> it was all the rage this weekend. >> a bowing 727 crashed into the desert in mexico. all caught on camera. >> please tell me this is like a movie or a fake plane. >> or some sort of a test. >> this was being filmed as part of a documentary for the discovery channel and dragon fly film and television production. they are doing a documentary about crash safety. it was reportedly loaded with crash test dummies but there were pilots inside who ejected. not eject like in a fire jet but they got out of the plane. >> it makes me get excited about getting on a 727 and the pilot steps out. >> save yourself! >> they had different censors inside the plane to see what happens. >> i think it is fantastic. we could learn a lot of stuff from this.
