out there reminding the public of the dangers of distracts driving as part of the it's not worth it campaign. here are the results. 5900 citations issued last month right here in the bay area. roughly 30,000 were issued statewide. >> a new report shows san francisco spending more than other cities on street maintenance but still has some of the worst streets. san francisco spent $49 million last year on street repairs. that's more than other large cities that were surveyed for the report. the report also finds 58% of the city's roads are considered to be in fair condition which is lower than the survey average. and oakland is taking steps to try to get rid of its pot holes. the mayor wants to get rid of 3500 in just eight weeks. the city said more than 1500 repairs have been made since the end of april. the mayor and public works crews will be on 14th street for more repair work tomorrow.
