ktvu's john sasaki just arrived on the road, he is he now -- he is here now with what he learned. >> reporter: this is dublin canyon road and laurel creek drive on the right. this scene just wrapped up. still active but just wrapped up 2 minutes ago. this started at 11:00 a.m. this morning when someone called police to report a crash can that seemed out of place. when officers arrived they looked inside the can and knew there were human remains inside. investigators say it is unclear if it was a body or body parts. they removed the remains and left the can with investigators. police are saying little other than it was human remains. >> 11:00 a.m. this morning officers respond to a garbage can, officers

passenger seat. the driver of the car only suffered minor injuries, same as the truck driver. a investigation found the tractor-trailer was going too fast and that is why he lost control. carjacking and police chase. the chase across the bay bridge came after a woman was carjacked in san francisco this morning. the pursuit ended with when the sus-- ended when the suspects bailed. one man was arrested, and the other man was found hiding in bushes. the coroner released the name of a man in a wheelchair who died. willm miller -- william miller died on tuesday. a woman jumped into the water but couldn't reach him. firefighters got him out out of the water but he died at the

police are searching for two people wanted for a attack on a dog. a dog is recovering now but what happened to him is hard to believe someone would do something like this. a man and a woman attached a fire cracker to that dog and detonated it. animal control rushed him to the hospital. he was treated to injuries to his neck.
