the panic button. the police arrive, the guy's down on his knees. the guy that the police did take into custody was 19-year-old jermaine walker. police are still looking for the second gunman who got away. this video shows the extremely frightening moment where is man is holding on for dear life inside his car. we don't know how the car ended up there, but in this part of china they were experiencing severe rainfall so this river is particularly mad because of the extra rain. >> that's a tiny car, too. i'm surprised it didn't just get washed away. >> that's the interesting thing about this car, it is so small, it must have been stuck on something that didn't allow it to be completely washed away by the waters. >> who knows where it started. could have been washed down river quite a ways and just happened to get snuck that particular part of the river. looks like there's maybe a

reacting when these planes go by. cheering on these planes. >> they helped save these people homes and their property. >> it is impressive to see these planes flying so low, then dlopg retardant on the ground. >> i admire these pilots so much, they get into these situations and do this because it is so incredibly dangerous. they get out time after time with all these wildfires and do it. i'm blown away by them. dashing from a car full of some people trying to make a right-hander on to a pretty busy two-lane highway. right-hand turn, gets in line with traffic but -- ooh! >> wow! >> that made me jump.
9:06 am
>> out of nowhere this suv tried to pass him on the left-hand side. a car was coming in the opposite direction. that squeezed the suv, sideswipes the car that we're riding in and just smashes into the tree. >> the driver already managed to get into the lane he wanted to for quite a while before that other guy tried to pass him on a curve, mind you. >> on a curve with somebody else come being the opposite direction. it is just a horrible failed attempt at trying to pass somebody and a really, really bad situation. >> i think the guy was trying to pass, saw the other car coming, then tried to jerk back in the right lane, that's when he nailed this dude. >> just put the brakes on for a second. it just takes an extra two minutes to be safe. >> even though they were the ones that got hit, they ended up okay, it seemed. they didn't get the worst of it. there's something special about this lingerie model. >> they do this to attract people. >> and it is working.

find out why every man will be able to look, but never touch, this lady in the window. >> wow. that's pretty cool. and, the cat we were all rooting for is back. remember corky? >> his back legs are twisted kind of like a corkscrew. >> we've got the latest on this little guy's comeback -- "right this minute. wts. >> he's d

win? >> roof's not looking so good right now. >> kind of looks like an amusement car ride. >> magic carpet. >> i wanted to see it lift off and fly because then it would look like a flying saucer with the lights coming down and that orange glow around. nobody hurt, just a bad little move. >> sometimes when you have a wedding, mother nature shows up, whether she was invited or not.
9:11 am
that was the case in orange park, florida, when ryan and amanda got married over the weekend. the sound you're hearing is the wind and the impending rains that came with tropical storm beryl. they tried to have their wedding and say "i do" just before the weather got really bad. but this is pretty bad. the video is being shot by one of the guests who did stay in his seat in order to test this video for us. his name was scott thornton. pay really close attention to the ride. her video is blowing, her dress is blowing. you see her jumping up and down, almost like she's saying hurry up! >> it is a free ride when you've already paid. once they realize there is a hurricane coming. >> they turned out to be luckier than we're saying they are. >> they got their i-dos said,
9:12 am
everybody kissed. >> their ceremony totally suction though. their guests weren't able to watch them get married because she's so worry about the hurricane. >> they got lucky. >> exactly. they got married. >> i think i found the perfect gal for you. she's a model. i don't think she can talk. >> check. >> and i don't think she's exactly real either. but she's in paris, france, and she's a hologram. this is at a lingerie store in paris, france. when the store closes, after hours, the hologram appears modeling the store's lingerie.

they do this to attract people, get people's attention. i think tupac was first. >> is it sad that real people don't look good enough in lingerie anymore that they have to make holograms to wear lingerie? >> she's not real so they're saving money there. >> one-time fee. >> i can only imagine a drunk guy roaming the streets of paris, france and trying to get her number. >> we are not far away from having hologram wives and spouses, girlfriends, are we? >> it's not that far away. come on, look at this. >> that would be sad. >> why wouldn't somebo somebody have a hologram spouse? >> you just hit the remote. >> i'm going to say it again --

9:18 am
once people saw this video, people started recognizing who this person was and now the police do have a person of interest. they have not made any official charges, but they have an idea about who this guy is. i think people are so appalled by this behavior, whether it was a political statement, whatever kind of statement it actually was. world war ii veteran. >> the symbolism behind it just merits it just being left alone by everybody. just let it represent what it's there for. when we were first introduced to corky about a month ago, everybody was just heartbroken over his condition. his back legs are twisted kind of like a corkscrew sew can't use them. you see him pulling himself around. he was a stray. he was found by cat's cradle. they said we got to take this cat in and they ended up finding somebody to do his surgery.
9:19 am
>> so he's playing with toys and he is now living at a home with some other cats. corky looks like he's doing really, really well. >> these two videos show him sort of laying down. is he able to get up and run around? >> yes, he is able to move around. and to tell us about corky and how he's doing, we have gale via skype right this minute. she's with cat's cradle that rescued corky. how is he doing? >> he's doing very well. he adjusted very well to my moment which is a relief because he didn't really like other cats to begin with. but he's doing really well as far as getting along with the animals. >> how does he get around? does he use any assistance or does he just drag himself around? >> he's a little thin back here in the lower body. he's never had any use of the back legs at all so we need to build that muscle. what we've done is we've got him
9:20 am
a cart. right now we're going to start with about ten minutes a day until he gets used to the cart then we'll start increasing the time to build that muscle in his core and in his lower body. hopefully that will help him get up and start getting that leg underneath him. >> the last time we spoke we talked about the possible cost of this surgery. how much did it end up costing and was it mostly through donations that you were able to afford it? >> it was completely through donations that we were able to afford it. and it cost -- the surgery itself cost over $6,000. we're really happy with how everybody has really decided to help him. he's been just a really big inspiration to me and people all over the world. funny dog watching tv.
