information leading to the conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for the disappearance. >> reporter: the sheriff's department said they are reassessing their own searches. live, robert handa, ktvu channel 2 news. we are getting new information tonight in a case of a sexual abuse at a elementary school. they sent letters home today stating district policy. prosecutors revealicide yesterday a school administrator received a claim of abuse about a teacher earlier than previously thought. the administrator did not report it to police. the letter says when a reporter has reason to believe abuse is or took place that person is required to make a report by phone or in writing.

her body was found 13 days ago and today police are hoping you can help identify her and find her killer. investigators released this sketch today. it is likely she was asian or latina and had three piercings in each ear. this afternoon police said they have not determined one critical piece of information. >> the cause of death is still not known. undetermined. there is nothing obvious or significant to make that determination. wewe are waiting on reports. >> the woman was found on dublin canyon road may 24. anyone with information is asked to contact police. a friend and fellow paramedic with bryan stow the day he was attacked took the

witness stand today. ktvu's christien kafton is live in los angeles with the testimony of how the friend described how he tried to stop that beating. >> reporter: we were inside the courthouse today as corey maciel took the stand. he was the closest witness to bryan stow and he said the attackers sucker punched him and began kicking him. >> i threw my body over his head to try and stop further physical contact. >> reporter: corey maciel said the attackers matched the description of the defendants, louie sanchez and marvin norwood and testified about talking to emergency responders in a 911 phone call saying he could identify the attackers if he saw them again. >> if i saw him i could recognize him. >> reporter: defense attorneys

said the attack happened so fast that there was no way corey maciel or any other witness could identify the witness. >> two men came from behind the vehicle and pushed him and said what did you say. >> reporter: prosecutors called two women into stand today and they saw bryan stow knocked to the ground and kicked. >> as soon as the statement was made -- what was the next thing that happened? >> the next thing that happened bryan stow was on the floor after being hit. >> reporter: we will be back inside court tomorrow when testimony resumed. we are expecting to hear from

president obama made a quick stop today in the bay area, his second visit in two weeks and raised $2 million in four hours. air force one took off this afternoon and headed to los angeles. the president attended a small meeting at one market plaza. 25 people paid $36,000 each. the president topped for lunch at the julia morgan ballroom in the merchants exchange building. >> demonstrators gathered this afternoon. some just wanted to catch a glimpse of the president and one wanted to send a message. >> i think anyone in the world should get a trial, should be captured and get a fair trial.
