propelling what does that have to do with a pair of glasses? >> i'll show you. >> how the video got jacked up and a tech convention could change your life in the near future. and it's russian style. we're going to begin our countdown today with a video that may be disturbing to some of you and can be difficult to watch. the man you're seeing in this video is michael marin, sitting in a courtroom in phoenix, arizona. we got this story from abc 15. in this moment, he's finding out he has been found guilty of arson. >> we the jury find the defendant michael james marin guilty of arson of an occupied structure. >> watch what happens moments later. you see someone hand him a tissue and then he sgeez a seizure and collapses on the courtroom floor. here's where the story gets range. accoing to the sheriff's office he may have put

something in this mouth just as he heard the guilty verdict that could have resulted in his collapse. watch as he puts his hands back up to his face. watch his neck and his jawline and it looks like he's swallowing something. and just over two minutes later, he begin what's looks like convulsing and then collapses on the floor. he was taken to the hospital where he later died. >> michael marin was accused in 2009 of burning down his $3.5 million mansion in an area in phoenix, ars. with this guilty verdict, marin did face 10 to 21 years in prison. according to reports he was seen visiting with a gatorade bottle moments before he was seen putting his hands to his mouth. >> interesting to see what the coroner says and the toxicology reports to see what actually happened, if he really did take something or not. next up at number nine on the "rtm" countdown.

as they're going through the book bag they notice jay is a tattoo artist and here's what they say to him. >> oh, you a tattoo artist. that's cool. my bad for everything. >> what? >> they say, "my bad." slap the guy's hand. look. turned around and leave. >> they really like tattoo artists? >> i don't know. i don't know what to say. >> shows you how decent these guys are to violence. desensitized. they didn't see what they had just done was intimidating, scary, it was just part of a day? >> this whole thing was dacaugh on surveillance videos. the reason we're showing their faces is because the detroit pd is looking for these two. >> time for our dramatic rescue and here it is at number seven. >> brevard county fire and rescue responded to a distressed kayaker in the indian river. >> it was desperate times for this kayaker and off they go

countdown and at number five, welcome to the future. >> we heard a lot about google glasses. those glasses that are supposed to be heads up, do crazy, cool things. well, here's a new demonstration of those glasses. put on by sergei, the co-founder of google. this giant demonstration in san francisco and a team of skydivers wearing the glasses above the convention center that they're talking, and they all jump out of this blimp. what's cool about this is, these glasses are transmitting their video signal live. >> all right. this is the video from the glasses. >> how do we know this? >> i'll show you. >> skydivers in their wing suits over san francisco to parachute. deploy and they land on top of of the convention center. >> all right.

>> they're trying to deliver a package to sergei to hand off the package to a couple of bicyclists also wearing google glasses. those guys ride across the route to the convention center, back flip with a little flare, jump off the edge of the building. >> whoa! >> and deliver the package to a guy who is going to rappel down the edge of the building who is also wearing the google glass technology. >> exciting. >> very exciting. the guy who rappels down the side of the building passes it off to another cyclist. you see him ride through amongst all the different people at this convention and if you had doubts as to, is this live or not, do these glasses really work and transmit their video realtime? there they are. >> that's awesome. >> it's like making your eyes a camera. >> yes. >> exactly. >> and people get to experience whatever you're doing. >> they should be widely available in about two years.

impressive technology. next up at number four, we've got a shark, some big-hearted guys and a net. this is a whale shark in indonesia. whale sharks are known to congregate near fishing boats and fishing platforms for the food and sometimes the fish that the fishermen are going after. unfortunately, when that happ s happens, they become trapped in the fishing net. which is what we see here. >> oh. >> my gosh. they got a big one. >> that is a very large whale shark. fortunately, it was trapped and they came to the rescue. >> this part doesn't look like a net that gets tangled around every fin and she gets all wraped up. kind ofgot scooped up. >> a net in the shape of a bag and she basically slammed into this bag net.

after doing a little maneuvering and having another whale shark hanging out to make sure that everything goes okay, they're able to pull the net just enough out of the way where she is able to then -- then swim away. and gave him a little thank you, dude. thumbing up with her fin. the whale shark's fin. >> like that. >> that's how they say "thank you." yeah. just like that. creatures from the deep make an appearance to escort a submarine out to sea. >> oh! >> it's a good omen, i think. >> find out who, or what, came out to play where the countdown continues. and this is one p.o.'d lady. >> like, bro, your dog just pooped in the park here. >> but what she does about it is the real kicker.
