hello, everybody. i'm beth troutman with your best fourth of july videos. we're talking about fireworks, sales and holiday fun to blow your mind. "right this minute." it's a buzz kill by the fuzz as a cleveland cop destroys $100,000 of fireworks. >> how the raid on one guy's stash left a whole neighborhood

with no fireworks show. >> i don't know what we'll do yet. >> this 4th, we celebrate the kid who gave hz dis dad an epic home coming. >> i saw him walk for the first time. it's a feeling you can't describe. >> it's time to fire up the grill for your holiday cookout. >> don't do this. >> there goes the barbecue. >> see what went wrong and i would you may want to spiral your weiner bere you row it barbie. >> that makes it last longer because it's longer. >> better strap in, because the fourth of july extravaganza star starts "right this minute." one cleveland neighborhood is not going to have their traditional fireworks display because of what police did with these fireworks.

police got a tip to a west cleveland neighborhood where they found $100,000 of fireworks. what you see here is them exploding half of them. >> they couldn't wait until the fourth of july. >> police say some of them were for a neighborhood di hhood dis some of them will be sold. >> we have been going down there to see the shows. i don't know what we'll do just yet. >> neighbors are disappointed because they say the man who had these fireworks usually puts on a fireworks display, so now it won't happen this is only a third of the fireworks that they blew up. >> destroyed it on purpose? >> why not donate it to the city and add it to their display. >> they say it's not safe to have them in a neighborhood. >> i never felt in any danger or harm. >> i think if you live in the neighborhood, you were looking forward to this guy's fireworks show, now it won't happen.

going on. they had him hid behind the screen. as soon as he came around the screen and i saw him walking for the first time, it's a feeling you can't describe. only thing i could tell you, one of the most proud moments of my life, to see him. knowing the pain he had to push to to get to that point. knowing the determination it took for him to make that happen. i was a very, very proud father. >> melissa, did you know he was going to therapy for this? or was this like a complete surprise? >> i had to remind myself not to post the videos on facebook because i wanted to update family members. it was harder whenever he would call and talk to him, i wanted to say, hey, guess what your son is doing. i did what i needed to and kept it in secret. >> what have you guys done since you have been back with michael that you weren't able to do before? >> one moment that stands out, shortly after us coming home, we went out and took family pictures. got a photographer to come out. we went out to this pond on

base, where michael at one point during this photo shoot decided he wanted to take a walk. he grabbed my hand. we ended up walking along this pond bank, along the edge of the trees and stuff there. just took a walk father and son for the first time. things like that that i couldn't have done with him before is great. i never thought this story would go so far. i never thought i would have such an impact on america the way it has. fourth of july, great day, perfect day to cook out, right? >> yeah. >> just don't do this. >> there goes the barbecue. >> these guys tried to jam as many pork ribs as they could on to the gas grill. the grease started to drip down and caused this huge fire. these guys, of course, are trying to save the food. get the food out of the flames. >> because you spend a lot of money on pork ribs. >> it takes two seconds, close

the lid. >> then you'll have a nice char on your rib. the sauce will caramelize. >> don't throw water on the flames like this guy. i think they successfully made a smoky barbecue sauce there. >> did the bucket of sauce melt? >> yep. >> part of the bucket melted. the flames were a couple feet high. >> a tough rib. >> those aren't going to be too tasty. the guy filming laughing the whole time. >> not the best day for these guys. not the best cookout. >> at least they were smart enough to move the grill away from the house. it looks like they knew. time to light the wick on fourth of july, rtm style. some of the best videos out there. let's kick it off.

i tell you, those crazy kids of canada know how to celebrate harry potter style. though, it's a little -- it's a lot different. these crazy kids decided, hey, let's shoot roman candles at each other, kind of like they do in harry potter when they cast spo spells. >> kind of like their magic wand. >> that's not a good idea. >> no, it's not. >> i was doing this before harry potter. we used to shoot roman candles at each other.
