the wreckage that left cops stunned. it's a video so cool. >> it amazed scientists. >> how a camera on a bird led to a crazy discovery about diving. and justin bieber says it will be okay. ♪ as long as you love me >> see the new music video that proves the biebs can take a beatdown. it's time to get things started with our first video, and steven has it. >> if you've ever unsuccessfully fought a parking ticket, then this next video will definitely make your blood boil, that's for sure. this shows a scene from an intersection in brooklyn, new york. according to the uploader, a motorist hit into two parked cars, pushing one of them, this silver gmc, into the intersection. now, what do you think happened next? the silver car that was pushed into the intersection got a ticket for being parked in the intersection. >> a parking ticket underneath the windshield? >> right.

>> it's not his fault! i can't believe he got a ticket. >> now, the guy taking this video asks him are you shocked that you just got this ticket? >> shocked? if you saw something like, this wouldn't you think something had to happen to his car? for it to be brought here. come on! >> there's another part of this video where the guy tried to explain why an officer gave him the ticket. >> i already started making out the ticket for blocking the intersection. >> what is the thing they always say. i started writing the ticket. why don't they just stop. they can void a receipt in a fast-food restaurant, why can't they void a ticket. >> we have a call into authorities but we have yet to hear back. yeah, the officer was doing his or her job, but there's also a point where you just kind of have to be like a human being and say, okay, this wasn't this guy's fault obviously. he didn't park his car smashed up against the telephone pole. you've got to cut somebody a

break sometime. >> this is a classic case of the police changing their policies. >> so if she seize a dead body n the intersection, are they smelkng by because they were closest to the body when she saw it? >> good point. i like that. police say an angry customer shot a south florida convenience store clerk, and that clerk's friends say there's a 99% chance he might be paralyzed from the waist down. you can see the suspect come in and just start firing. >> oh. he just went up and shot straight at him. is this some sort of vendetta. >> they say witnesses told them that the customer was upset that he had to wait in line. when he engaged the clerk, he had words and the clerk came after him with a bat. they say the suspect came back with a gun and fired shots into the store. now, there were six customers in that store, but he shot the man two times, once in the stomach

and once in the shoulder. he was transported to the hospital in critical condition. but again his friends say there's a 99% chance that he may be paralyzed from the waist down. >> the owner says he can't believe this happened. >> i've been here 25 years and never had a problem like this. the customers are like friends and family. >> it sounds like this guy reacted to his ego being hurt. >> it looks like he came in to cause injury. he wasn't attempting to rob the blaze, just came in with guns blazing. >> he was only identified by the name dre but police are looking for the suspect at this point. this one is going to make you guys really mad. this is a car chase. they're pursuing 30-year-old jose rodriguez because he allegedly stole from a nearby kohl's and took off. during the car chase he ran several stoplights and this very last one that he ran, he ended up hitting another car, disabling his own car. you see one officer approaching the car, gun drawn, and then

suddenly they are trying to pry the door open because they see something inside the car. >> oh, man, i knew it. i knew it. are you kidding me? what could you possibly be stealing from kohl's worth risking not only your own life but the life of this baby? >> there's no word on the relationship of the driver to the baby. they both sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital. but he is now facing several charges, including child endangerment, seat belt violation and child restraint, which makes us believe that baby was probably not in the proper seat. >> that was going to be my next question. it didn't look like it was in a car seat, they had to do a lot to get it out. >> and it looked like they were doing it through the driver's side front window. >> you can almost see the moment when the police officer notices there's a baby in the car.

so as you can see, they have constructed these athletes out of, i don't know, popsicle sticks. they have the crowd there in cotton balls, but their highlights come with, of course, some commentary too. >> and now they're off. franklin gets off to a good start. as they backstroke toward the record, franklin is in third. >> they're giving you all the info you need to know. she's out there against an aussie, against team japan. it's down to the wire. >> here comes missy. it's going to be close coming down for the touch. and the winner is missy. missy the missile. >> and the slow-motion replay and the crowd goes wild. >> i like how they changed her face. when she's on the podium, she's got that big gold medal smile everybody has been talking about. i wonder if the "wall street journal" consulted some fifth grade schools on how to construct this. i feel that would be the best

people for input. going for a turtle ride. this video was just released from the wildlife conservation society, and i think you're going to be amazed. it amazed scientists. this is the imperial cormoran. and some scientists put a little lipstick-sized camera to one and then studied their food-eating habits. what scientists originally thought that they got their food by skimming the surface of the water. but look what they discovered!

>> they dive! >> they do a big ole whopping dive. >> so there you see the bird go through the surface of the water. >> get a little fish that's swimming around, right? >> so you see the bird's head bobbing. this is in the water. the bird is using its wings to dive deeper and deeper. the water gets darker and darker and then you see it's at the ocean floor. this one dove 150 feet below the surface of the water. >> no way! >> and it shocked scientists, because they didn't realize that this bird was capable of doing this. >> wouldn't it be funny if this was the only bird that did in? that goes down to the bottom? all their research is messed up. >> they think this is a huge discovery because this will help them identify and protect priority feeding areas for these birds, and then also other members of the wildlife sing
