sulphur into the air and this community has born the brunt of it. >> chevron says it has received 9,000 claims that are not related to this lawsuit. meantime, the refinery fire investigation continues. one industry energy group tells us chevron could have to close the refinery for up to 6 months to repair the damage. they say they won't speculate on a time line. cal fire says the two wildfires burning are 70% contained. full containment by monday. the two fires have burned 7900 acres since they started last sunday. two homes and an out building have been destroyed. two more residences were damaged. cal fire has announced a statewide burn ban suspending all residential burn permits on state control land due to the

high fire danger. residential burn permits, forest management, hazard reduction. cal fire says the burn ban will remain in affect until there is significant change in weather conditions or until the end of the fire season. 4:36 and later this morning we're going to get a look at what will be used to hold together the new eastern span of the bay bridge. construction teams will be lifting 35,000 tons of steel on to the bridge. transportation officials will give a presentation on how the process will work. tom will have more on that at 5:00. check in with sal for complete look at traffic early thursday morning. >> hello, pam. good morning to you. traffic is moving along well if you are driving on the bridge getting into san francisco. no major problems on the 80 freeway westbound as you head out.

organizers. a man suspected of groping a woman is now facing charges. 36-year-old samuel lions was arrested tuesday just minutes after the incident was reported. he was wanted in connection with another groping incident and suspected in the battery of a teenager. investigators are trying to determine if lyons was involved in any other incidents in the area. a man with occupy oakland could head to jail for vandalizing police property. convicted for his role in a protest last november. he smashed the front window of the recruiting and internal affairs office causing $6,000 in damage. he could be sentenced to 16 months behind bars. time now 4:46. a governor at odd s with president obama is in a controversy. executive order yesterday in response to

tropical depression hector this will be approaching california and the bay area for friday and saturday. got some extra high clouds. will feel muggy by tomorrow afternoon. we were tracking thunder storm chances. there is a chance of thunder storm friday night and saturday morning. those be chances are beginning to fade. but with that pattern in place, we have to keep an eye on that. here's our forecast model showing you fog hanging out in parts of the shore line. look what happens into tomorrow. here we are tomorrow afternoon showers and thunder storms developing out towards the sierra. big batch of high clouds into saturday morning. this is when we could have isolated shower or thunder storm. tiny chance into saturday morning. and decreasing clouds by saturday afternoon and evening hours. today minor changes out there. temperatures on average 3 to 5 degrees warmer than yesterday.
