five. >> good evening. >> san jose is dealing with a surge in homicides. there have been four killings in just the past seven days. the latest victim was gunned down just after five this morning. the man was found shot to death near south winchester boulevard. we talked to residents out the concerns. >> reporter: san jose police are releasing few details about the early morning homicide. officers responded to the report of shots fired. when they arrived they found a man with at least one gun shot wound. he died at the scene. neighbors say that they are nervous. >> this morning i don't know what happened after that i'm scared. >> reporter: she didn't know what happened until police started knocking on their door looking for information. >> i told them, i said i heard

threatening injuries. >> police in oakland are searching for clues in a shooting there early this morning that sent a person to the hospital. gun fire started at 2:15 near 92nd avenue. the investigators say the victim was shot in the neck and chest and as he stood near his motorcycle he was rushed to highland hospital. his condition has yet to be released. an hour earlying a gunman chased after a white car with five people inside. man opened fire riddling the car with bullet holes. at least one person was hit and taken by ambulance to the hospital. so far police don't know of a motive. >> investigators in vallejo looking at the third suspicious fire in the same area in the past two weeks. police rushed to the former army surplus store. the building has been empty for years. this is the third fire on couch street in two weeks.

. for 11 years hundreds of motorcyclists have taken a road trip in from pennsylvania to new york city. all for the 911 memorial ride. we talked to one man who make itself a point to participate every year. >> reporter: new york is the final leg of the ride. the group has traveled through six states and washington dc. they started in summer set pennsylvania and traveled to the flight 93 crash excite then on to the pentagon and finally new york. we spoke to a man who was has been on every ride. he gets emotional about seeing average americans lining the streets. a bored member said 911 still haunts him today. he is a tower 2 survivor honoring his son-in-law's best friend a firefighter who lost his life while trying to save
