delays and we have a few kraus on the way -- crews on the way and traffic is moving well to the will low pass grade. we begin with overnight news in the north bay. a family of 3 escaped an early morning fire, here is more on the damage there. >> nobody hurt thankfully but the flames to your through the garage, one was burned and they managed to he scape as they tried to knock down the intense fire. it started just before 2:00 a.m. and smoke alarms did go off inside the place. they alerted the family of what was going on. mom dad kids and family dogs

managed to get out of the house. the garage is slightly separate. so they did a great job of finding that inside the home and very little smell in the house too. so obviously the family can't say here, they are staying with friends nearby. a fire investigators will be out here on the scene after 8:00 and they will be going through this debrie and egglily -- exactly it does not appear to be suspicious.

. we have some new video this morning, check it out, dozens of sharks attacking fish off the jersey shore. an ocean owing after shot this 50 yards from the beach. he said they were jumping out of the water and feeding on the fish and take a look, they don't stop. the video has more than 300,000 views on you tube. new development involving a fresno slaughter house accused of animal cruelty. the federal government and mcdonald's will no longer buy from this area. it shows cows beaten and kicked at the hands of the facility. they bought 20 million pounds of beef for school lunches and other programs. the slaughter house is being shut down on monday and they are working to address

some drizzle this morning right around san francisco as well. current numbers are mainly in the 50s but have cooled off in the past hour and hayward, one of the cooler spots have checked in around 60 degrees. and this is in a good portion of the state and will stick around, today about the same as yesterday, it could be cooler and temperatures u-you can see the range is 60 for the beaches, most areas are in the 80s up to 20 miles per hour. those sensitive to smoke out there, you want to avoid with all the smoke burning from the fire and once again this is in place until 10:00 up in mendocino county. and clouds coast side, clearing back to the shore line into the afternoon hours and temperatures, you will have the

muni line, see that spot on the ground, right there, ruptured line, it is affecting the line in the sun set of districts. this is near 33rd avenue and it is slowly getting through that area but we wanted to make you aware of it. in the meantime, world series boats will be out there racing on the bay later in san francisco. the oracle racing team will be among them and thousands of spectators will be out there watching. and a suspicious fire left a small oakland business ruined. it started on 64th avenue and international boulevard at 1:00 this morning and the cause of the fire is under investigation. north bay crews, a family made it out alive and we have a

close-up look at the damage there, alex? >> reporter: good morning, this was a devastating fire for this family, the garage itself was destroyed and two of their jeans, including this one which was parked in the driveway at the time. luckily the family managed to escape unhurt. it happened at this house and smoke alarms went off inside the house alerted the family to what was going on and that's when mom, dad and daughter all ran outside, everyone was safe, they actually ran out to their backyard and a fire captain said they were stuck because the flames were burning along the sidewalk way. >> there was quite a bit of heat on the left side of the building so it did prevent them from proceeding out into -- out from the backyard. they were very concerned about their animals and they were

237 westbound right here and it is a little bit slow approaching the 880 interchange with 237. i have been watching this for you, yesterday we had a terrible day, airport delays were reported and you can almost say they are forecast for a day later after it started getting crowded about a day later. it will be an hour later on some more flights and you should check with your carrier. >> now because of this, low clouds and fog increasing over the past three hours and what they are doing, we have an impact as they have been cooling off. as far as current numbers we had some drizzle in parts of the bay, fairfield, it is windy out there, and winds are 20 miles per hour and san jose is 26 degrees. areas of fog, inland and clearing skies, still, patchy

insects that do carry the west nile virus and it is bordereds on brentwood boulevard. the center for disease control said the outbreak could be the worst in u.s. history. there have been 41 death and that's four times the normal amount of cases for this time of year. casey anthony could taste more freedom, today is the last day of her probation on check fraud charges and that means she will no longer be required to proper to a probation officer. anthony was acquitted in the murder of her daughter caylee anthony last year. we have a candy recall, the licorice company of american city, they are telling us not to eat black licorice twist. it exceeds state led level
