>> reporter: the chase started and then ended and the suspects took off. they are hoping the cell phone dropped by the suspect on york street will yield some clues. live from san francisco, i'm tara moriarty, ktvu channel 2 news. thank you, tara. one person was killed. another injured in a separate shooting in the mission district. it happened around 6:00 last night near 4th and harrison street. police say the victims were approached by two other men who opened fire. one of the men died at the scene. the other was taken to the hospital. yesterday's fatal shooting was the third homicide in the mission in the past three days. >> turning to the world series. preparations are happening right now for game two. the giants crushed the tigers,

backup of about 20 minutes. there is a bunch of slow traffic. well, we do have drizzle. it's a low cloud deck. game 2 forecast looks just as nice as game 1. temperatures upper 50s but any rain will be gone. this is a morning event right here. a lot of low clouds. radar does pick up some of it. there's plenty to go around. this is our cloud and rain forecast. we're under cloudy skies and then by noon there it goes. but i think most of this starts to burn off. it could take a while for something -- for some. a by-product left behind.

the trend is to take temperatures up. start that with more likely friday into saturday. showing up saratoga, santa cruz mountains. also around oakland and we have reports of some areas still getting the drizzle. 50s on the temperatures. p 10 to 12 degrees lower. you can see where the storm track is going. it's heading north and once we get the cloud and -- get the county over with, temperatures will -- get the cloud cover over with, temperatures will warm up. upper 70s for some. warmer weather will take us into next week. but wednesday, rain.
