>> but something else catches the bat. >> how a creature comes from nowhere to snatch and grab. >> give me the thing! >> daddy! >> plus get the tuesday's buzz word to win an ipad and get scared by a zombie at the drive-through. >> he's like, that was great. >> and in the city you see here, it's a rescue of some hikers off cattleback mountain in phoenix. a lot of people go up there to hike and in the summer you hear a about rescues. but this time people are being rescued because they were attacked by bees. as you can see, in this video, they are taking this guy down the mountain. the sad thing is, one hiker fell and died from his injuries from the fall. he fell 150 feet. both of the men that did survive and were taken to hospitals after the rescue had 300 bee stings apiece.

>> after they take him out of the lift, you can see them brushing bees off of him presumably. if you notice the firefighters are all covered so they didn't get stung. although one firefighter in the rescue was stung. he did not have to be hospitalized. >> to tell us about the rescue, we have scott mcdonald from the phoenix fire department "right this minute," via skype. how are all the patients doing? >> two of the adult males are in hospital, still. each of them suffered 300 to 400 bee stings. >> where did the bees come from? >> there was three buddies, they were hiking up echo canyon trail. once they got up there a little ways, they moved off the trail, once they got over there, we don't know exactly where the hive of bees were, but that's when they began to get attacked. once the attack started, the one gentleman unfortunately fell off the trail. the other two men jumped into the crevasse trying to get away from the bees and they hunkered down and took the stinging and stinging over and over again until our rescue crews got to

them. >> who called the fire department? did they call or did other bystanders see what was happening? >> a bystander hiking the main trail saw the first gentleman call and the calls started flooding in. >> what type of bees do you believe those to be? >> i'm not a bee expert, but in arizona, the africanized bees and the honey bees have intermixed so much that we're under the impression they're just aggressive bes. we're lucky this was not a triple fatality. if we had to have free climb up there with rope systems, it would have been too late. on halloween the bruises on your face are supposed to be makeup. they're not supposed to be real, like in this case. this is in toronto. a halloween party at a restaurant and a bit of an altercation going on. >> someone yelling if you want to go outside, take it outside. the restaurant is full of people who just want to eat. but instead of going outside,

look at what happens. pay very close attention to this guy on your left wearing a costume. he just threw a plate and broke it on that poor girl's face. >> that was a dirty plate. >> smashed it right on her forehead. >> here's another angle of the moment the poor girl got hit on the face and there's a moment when the plate hits the face, she turns around and grab it is obviously in pain. the fight continues. >> as soon as the girl gets hit on the face. look at the two other girls, one other girl and straight up takes the other girl down. >> the guy with the s.w.a.t. costume tries to get back to where the group is the poor restaurant worker is trying to stop the fight. but it doesn't work. >> the girl that was hit did suffer injuries, that needed medical attention. so police are looking for this guy. and they believe he's in his

accessory, the guy had got knocked unconscious, police initially described his injuries as life-threatening. he was taken to the hospital. treated and was released after his condition was later upgraded. we often say on the show, that everything looks cooler in slow motion, right? >> yeah, sure. >> this does not.
