hello, everyone. i'm beth troutman. we find great videos so you don't have to. let's take a look at them right this minute. it was a traffic stop that turned into something much, much more. >> hey! put your hands out the window! >> how one small violation got the driver stun gunned. >> this seems bizarre. see the storm recovery. from saving the stranded to beating the gridlock and -- >> it appears as though people are still working. like this guy. >> you're still working? >> that's what brown can do for you. he's a low-key brit.

>> who has an amazing talent. >> why they call him the human wikipedia. plus, get the thursday buzz word for your chance to win an ipad 3 and meet one of our lucky ipad winners who just got the good news. >> i just -- and the dog starts freaking out and running to the door because they thought an intruder came in to try to kill me. in florida, two seminole county sheriffs deputies are now former deputies after a traffic stop turned into something much, much more. this traffic stop happened in may. as you can see, two guys are pulled over during this stop. >> put your hands out of the window! >> in the report, police said that they didn't pull over immediately. investigators said they pulled over six seconds after they saw the lights. >> put your hands on the hood. >> i want you to look to the left of the screen. the deputy with the gun is trying to get the driver out of

the car. that's when the other deputy steps in. he's grabbing a shotgun out of the trunk. you're going to see two things going on here. you're going to see clutter on the left and another deputy on the right. the passenger on the right gets out with no trouble. the driver definitely has an incident with clutter. >> he got tased? >> he got tased. you notice, he's still got a shotgun in the other hand. according to investigators, other deputies felt unsafe because of what former deputy clutter was doing with the shotgun and the taser. investigators found he lied, he swore, and he brandished this shotgun and taser and used the taser when it wasn't warranted. >> i'd be asking this too. i'd say, what did i do? >> the men were stopped because they said they were not wearing seat belts. but the sheriffs office investigation found that both former deputies made an accurate

statement as to what really occurred. the charges were eventually dropped against the two men in the car. the deputies can appeal the findings. i have two different surveillance videos to show you. the suspects in these videos are still on the loose. this first video is from inside a salon and spa in edmonton in alberta, canada. you have a guy in there dousing the entire salon with gasoline. >> is he just mad he got a bad haircut or something? what would he be burning down the salon for? >> when that first flame went up, i'm surprised he didn't blow himself up. >> they think the suspect suffered some burns because of the video. they're using that to try to track this guy down. they're hoping he shows up at a hospital for treatment. this next surveillance video is from o'malley's irish pub in

st. louis, missouri. you'll see the owner of the bar. his name is tommy. he's sweeping the front sidewalk. he's got two masked gunmen who come up to him and point the gun directly in his face. police think these guys were trying to rob this local pub. but watch what he does. he starts fighting the guy off with his broom. >> oh, geez. >> does the guy open fire? >> yes, the guy does open fire, does not hit him with any of the bullets. one of the gunmen then goes around the corner where his friend is also sweeping, fires the gun at him, misses, and the friend runs away. >> good thing these guys are terrible shots. they're really, really close for them to miss. i mean, they're lucky. >> get this. he's an ex-u.s. olympic boxer. trying to rob the wrong guy, i would say. the reason he fought them off, his wife was working inside the bar. he wanted to make sure those guys didn't get anywhere near his wife.

>> huge points there. >> right? >> good husband and good bar owner. >> and good broom handler. a couple of guys out in tuscaloosa, alabama, getting ready for a cool jump off of the black warrior parkway bridge. >> what? that's a high bridge. >> about 110 feet. >> that's pretty high. >> he looks around, jumps over, and falls in the water. the camera kind of falls over. you get a bit of a shot of his face. everything's okay. he survives the jump. except get this. someone saw a man jumping off the bridge, called the police, and when they arrived, they thought someone had committed suicide, so they immediately launched a massive search. they've got divers in the water. there's a helicopter up above

searching the banks, searching the river bottom. monday they uploaded the video to youtube. the police saw it. this kid's in trouble. >> that's taxpayer moy.e pelek. >> they did violate a federal rule that says any act or conduct by any person which interferes with, impedes, or disrupts the use of a project or impairs the safety of any person is prohibited. i did speak to these guys. they said they had no idea when they jumped that they were breaking any codes. >> isn't it terrifying that this bridge is high enough that someone would think if you jumped off of it would be a suicide? >> wednesday a warrant was issued for the arrest of the jumper. he did turn himself in and was charged with two misdemeanors. as we know, many areas of the east coast are still under water after superstorm sandy. one of those areas hardest hit,

staten island. in this video, we're seeing a camera from helicopter 23 from the nypd. you see them plucking people from the top of homes. in the videos we're watching, five adults and one child who were trapped were saved by helicopter 23. >> that person looks like he or she is carrying a small child, an infant almost, in her arms. >> helicopter 23 is named after the 23 new york police officers killed during the 9/11 attacks, which just adds to all this. now, from staten island to lower manhattan, still flooded. leading to lots of gridlock. one driver had a bright idea as to how to get around the gridlock. if you notice, he's going the wrong way down lexington avenue. >> i would be freaking out.

>> it's the most awesome thing i've ever witnessed in new york. as long as we don't kill anybody. >> he's going to run into someone head on. >> last but not least, hoboken, another area super flooded. my friend who lives there sent us this video. it appears as though people are still working. >> there's still ups deliveries. >> are you kidding me? >> you're still working? >> that's what brown can do for you. they're not stopping. those packages, they say it's going to get there in two to three business days. he means it. >> it's not on the screen yet, but it's coming. fast. >> they felt the jolt of the air after it went past them. >> see what's stirring the air next. halloween's over, and now we all need to know the -- >> way to destroy a pumpkin. >> see what they are on "right this minute."

thing. this video is of a lobster in a tank. he is removing his body from his exoskeleton. it doesn't grow as the lobster grows, so periodically they have to remove themselves from their exoskeleton. watch this. this is amazing. you'll watch him just kind of pull himself out of his older shell. >> pulling himself out of himself. >> it's moving day. >> this is home improvement time. >> as we get further along, he starts really coming out. i think this is absolutely amazing. i wish lob stesters did this be we cooked them. >> oh, get it. >> a lobster has been born. >> cool, right? >> i learned more about lobsters today than i thought i was going to. >> thank you, beth. i learn something new from you every day. not too long ago our hearts collectively went out to the saddest little cardinals fan.
