seriously hurt and he said he kept the stick as a souvenir. >> how bad is it? we appreciate firefighters very much here in america. they put their lives in danger and we thank them for it. in the uk, it's a little different, at least with a group of people. look at what these guys did. what you just saw is a young deadbeat throw a brick right at this fire truck in manchester in england. apparently this firefighter was responding to a fire call. to trash cans had been lit on fire and they went to put it out. once they were done, about to leave, they saw a group of people that they thought were just young hooded, up to no good kids. but instead of driving towards them. they decided to just back up. when they did that, these guys started charging at the truck and they started throwing bricks. rocks at it, causing damage to this fire engine. >> so these kids, they're saying

that these young people set the fires to bring the firefighters out so they can throw things at them? >> exactly. >> i talked so some of the firefighters and they're just as appalled as we are at the whole thing. >> we're here to help you. we're here to look after yourselves and your families. by stopping us do our jobs, you're not helping yourselves or helping us. >> because of this incident, they have less resources, they have one less truck that they can have out there ready to respond to legitimate fire calls. >> this engine had so much damage they had to take it off the road for repairs. fortunately none of the firefighters were injured. >> it makes no sense. >> nobody comes to work and expects to be attacked. it was quite a frightening situation. >> ladies, i think i found an animal that is aspiring to become a high-fashion model. >> really? >> yeah, here is the bit of a

york city. i have a pretty incredible story of a woman who decided to run the new york city marathon -- in hudson, wisconsin. >> that's on the hudson, sort of. >> this is angie dove hatch. over the summer, she ran around 650 miles to train for the marathon. but more than that, she raised nearly $20,000 for an organiti called which helps children available for adoption find permanent homes. at 10:05 a.m. on sunday, which is the time the new york city marathon was supposed to start, she started her own marathon. >> she had a whole parade and everything. >> "right this minute" via skype from hudson, wisconsin, we have angie dove hatch. welcome to the show, angie. >> thank you so much for having me, i'm very excited to be here today. >> tell me how disappointed you must have felt when they canceled the new york city marathon that you had been

training for. >> deep down i knew i could not get on a plane and feel good about going and possibly taking resources from those without anything. so i just made the decision on wednesday that i was going to stay home and run it here in hudson. >> how did you get the word out so quickly? >> the race was organized in three days and people came out and ran the race race with me, we had my girlfriend singing the national anthem and my 11-year-old son ran 11 1/2 miles with me. it was so fantastic, better than anything i could have imagined. >> were you surprised by the support you had? >> i was. people were volunteering like crazy tote get out and help. this is how hudson is. i have three adopted children out of the four. i feel like as an adoptive parent, they need to know that our job is to give back and raise awareness for children who don't have someone to care for them. that kept me going every step of the way. [ cheers and applause ]

>> but the little boy has no idea who is in the darth vader mask. he throws his light saber, darth vader is defeated. his mom says hunter, go take his mask off. >> aw. >> hunter, luke and his sister, princess leia. see daddy. they haven't seen him for three months. when the video was shot, hunter just wanted a star wars party. >> i loves that he holds the helmet for a second, he's like, is that really my dad? >> yeah. >> a moment of confusion. >> well, dad is a sailor and he had 96 hours of leave. so he came and made his son's birthday extra special. >> after the big unmasking there, too, the little boy literally does a jump for joy. you see after he hugs his dad, he starts to walk away and does like a jump. yeah! >> so cute. >> when this little boy watches star wars for the rest of his

life -- the moment where he does say, luke, i am your father, he's going to be grinning from ear to ear rather than -- no! it will be an emotional moment. >> ♪ ♪ i think we should call this little segment things that you should not try at home. >> i've got a couple of videos. the first video shot in the united kingdom had a lot of bonfire. >> i know it's a bonfire, but am i seeing some type of rocket being employed here?
