veteran's day. it is 35 feet across. you can see the flagpole in the center of t and they will have a brand new flag flying from it. it is one for each branch of the military. now, it took eight months to build and countless hours of effort to raise the $200,000 needed to build the memorial. >> this is the post war 1961 that spearheaded the project. now, that it is complete. it will be dedicated at a ceremony that starts here in the park. this is in castor valley. >> there will be a helicopter and c-130 flyover. dignitaries will speak and members of the american legion. veterans of foreign wars will lay wreaths out here on the site. we will tell you about the man who designed the memorial and how he got his experience

seven black marbled slabs. one for each branch of the military. there is a lot of attention to detail from the marble benches and embrace sod with quotes. and -- especially blazed with this. there are no stairs or steps to navigate. for the project organizers it is important to make sure this is wheelchair accessible. the veterans of foreign wars post 19601 and spearheaded the project. it was by michael emerson. a veteran of the first gulf war and helped design the memorial in shanksville, pennsylvania for flight 93. it took eight mondays to build this. and cost $200,000. all paid for. and at the dedication ceremony. there will be a huey helicopter
