after -- >> nine shots of vodka. >> he'll never let him forget. the traffic is california, as if it wasn't bad enough. check out this standstill on interstate 880 near the oakland colosseum. there's a couple of boneheads doing doughnuts in the middle of the interstate. whipping their cars around, laying rubber all over the interstate at some sort of impromptu car stunt. how do you pull this off on an interstate with moving traffic. >> looks like they have friends in the pack of cars that slowly came to a stop, made a break. caused the traffic to back up behind them. so the roadway was clear and these guys could pull these doughnuts. to stop traffic in this northbound lane. of course, all the other side you have the rubber neckers slowing down to check out what's

happening. whole mess in either direction. >> i like the license plates. if the cops get aholding of t o you can see -- >> you hear, 5-0, 5-0, the cops weren't able to get there in time but are aware of this, it's posted online. it's completely reckless and they plan on tracking them down from the license plates. >> all of these people backed up on the highway from places to be, places to go. and they're selfishly taking up everyone else's time. i read at least one comment that says, look, i was stuck in this. it took me an hour and a half to get through this mess on a saturday. >> go to an empty parking lot to do this, dude. it's video of a dramatic res crew getting a lot of airtime around the world. queensland, australia. immediately you see truck stranded in big time floodwaters.

the individual joe from a rescuers dangled down from a helicopter, but quickly look who is in the bed of this truck. a very small child. 14-month-old luke in the arms of his mom, 22-year-old robin and her friend donna also in the truck here. here's the thing. that child is too small for the standard harness in a rescue-like lift. so look what they had do. they used an equipment bag and basically put this child in a bag and hoisted him up to the helicopter. >> ah! >> fortunately, mom and donna were also saved in this incident. now, this video has been all over the place but nobody has talked to the rescuers yet. we have garth and matt from the royal automobile club of queensland joining us "right this minute." guys, this video is being passed around all over the world because of how the rescue went down. does that spripz yurprise you g? >> yes. the only thing we got, two women and a child. did it the best way we could. a standard hoist. the bag is not standard

procedure. >> was the bag just laying around and you used it to save the child? >> >> we assessed the situation. the bucket was way too risky. >> describe what you were feeling when you were down there with them. >> i wanted to reassure them. obviously i'm taking a baby away from his mother's arms in a situation. completed the mission successfully. >> did i see a dog in the back of that truck? >> we did have to leave the dog. hopefully the waters receded and the dog was okay. >> talk about the mom. >> frantic, but at the end of the day, everything went went. >> thanks, guys. keep up the good work. looks like a perfect day for snow skiing in the french alps.

take a look at the flames shooting out of this damaged pipeline. this is in northwest china. those flames are going about 100 feet in the air. >> whoa. what's causing this? >> well, the pipe line ruptured. what rescuers had to do, climb up the pipeline and shut it down. it took firefighters five hours to put the flames out. >> it's like a flame geyser. it looks like old faithful, but for fire. >> uh-huh. >> yeah. this video, if it's an indication, didn't look like it's slowing down. >> it's a populist country. think of all the gas eruptions that might have been experienceed by this. talking about 30 feet in diameter. a lot of gas getting cut off and not get where it supposed to go. >> the one good thing you can take away from this video, it is shooting straight up in the air. not like into the surrounding vehicles or anything like that. >> it's not the whol pipe line

en are you? slow mo, in reverse. snowballs. ♪ a couple of diving videos for you guys down in the deep blue sea. this first one off the coast of maui. we're looking at divers todd and tiffany kidder, and once they get below the surface of the water, there's some pretty unexpected but awesome guests. those are humpback whales and it's a whole pod of them. we're not talking about one. we're talking a whole family.
