its stuffed baby. the police department received a number of calls that someone was driving around in a snow plow hitting cars and then driving off. this all happened back in january of 2011, but the video is just released. when the calls came in toronto police sergeant, 35-year-old ryan russell, was out there trying to locate this runaway snow plow driver. in this dash cam video from sergeant ryan russell you eventually see this snow plow. right here in the middle of the road. >> where is he going? >> the snow plow obviously recognizes that the officer, the sergeant is behind the vehicle. in the middle of the road, you see the snow plow pull a u-ey. you see the officer's car stop. >> he's coming right at him. >> you see the sergeant put his car in reverse. >> oh, no. >> then he eventually stops. the sergeant stops his car and watched the snow plow hit into the officer's car. doesn't look like that tishl of

an accident, but sergeant ryan russell was killed because when that car stopped, sergeant ryan russell got out of his car to fire and with the blade of the snow plow hith his legs, flipping him and around also kill i killi killing him at the scene. 46-year-old richard catchcar shot and wounded him. nonlife threatening injuries. catchcar is facing trial this week on charges of first-degree murder, dangerous driving. his plead not guilty and claiming insanity. the sergeant, obviously, knew his life was in danger when you see this plow comgt him a a th int is his side arm. i just wish he wouldn't have gotten out of his vehicle. you have to figure he was doing it to try to save others, to try to prevent this guy from running into others out there. you really just never know what you're going to have to

face as a reporter when you are out on the field. this reporter, diego santiago is in las vegas reporting for univision kinc. he started doing a story about a day laborer's dispute. then suddenly, a man that the reporter claims seems to be under the influence maybe of drugs approached them being very upset at them for reporting in the location that they were reporting from. look at what the man suddenly does. the man reaches over, grabs diego's necklace and starts taking off. >> he peels the necklace right off of him? >> right off of him. >> but diego is not going to have it and starts chasing after this guy, tackles him. pins him to the ground. a witness that sees this called the cops. the cops arrive shortly after, and they end up arresting that guy. >> that's awesome. when the cops show up and say why do you have this guy down on the ground.

you just say, okay. roll the tape. >> he has the evidence. he did end up retrieving his jewelry. diego said that the reason he chased after this it was because it had a lot of sentimental value. >> that's not what i was expecting. i thought the guy was going to punch the reporter or something. you should be careful next time you're in the field with that solid gold chain. >> i will not be chasing after this one. i'll tell you that much. if someone takes it, they can have it. there's a good chance you may have seen this video. i say that because this video is several years old. it's from 2004. some say it was originally posted in 2008. sort of went vil way back then. it's getting a lot more attention now. some believe because of defense secretary leon panetta lifting the ban on women on the front lines in combat positions. >> general dempsey and i are pleased to announce that we are

that's what this video is all about. this group of surfers like to surf around the world. this time they headed to antarctica. >> last place on the planet i would want to surf. that's cold. >> you can see there are some large icebergs there, but this time, they weren't really getting the waves they expected, but they got a once in a lifetime surprise when they hit the water. they started noticing that the penguins very intrigued. they started swimming around this guy. >> oh, no. that's awesome. >> we see so many people swim with dolphins. we never see people swim with penguins. >> the video was posted a couple of weeks ago but just recently went viral. >> in the background you can hear the great escape by patrick watson. ♪ >> i would just like to pick them up and hug them. >> this guy explains how cool his experience is. he's very giddy about it.
