hi, everybody. i'm beth troutman. we've been searching the web and we have the best videos of the day, "right this minute." a semi truck on fire dangles from a bridge, and -- >> the driver was still inside. >> the amazing escape before the wall of flames came tumbling down. rescuers are having trouble saving a deer and her fawn on a frozen lake. but -- >> this chopper pilot is so brilliant. >> what he did to get momma back

to her baby. it's a pair of jeans with a mysterious mark. >> it's almost like a bleach stain. >> find out what it really is and how it could change your wardrobe. and it's tough enough just to juggle -- >> three balls and a rubik's cube. >> now see this guy one-up his own trick. >> how does he know? >> this is definitely a not so fun version of hanging out. a driver of a semi truck carrying two trailers slip on some icy roads on a bridge on highway 218 in iowa. now we're seeing the cab and one of the trailers dangling over the bridge. at one point, the driver was still inside. fortunately the driver was able to free himself and drop down to safety and was uninjured. but watch what happens next. the cab and one of the trailers falls down beneath the bridge. big explosion happens. you can see here after the trailer and the cab falls to the

ground, an additional explosion on the ground. kwwl has an angle of this explosion caused by the gasoline and the magnesium this guy was carrying. the roadway had to be closed down for several hours. crews were on the scene and immediately hit this thing with the hose to put out the fire. >> it was very difficult to put out. >> i would imagine if it burned too long, it would probably compromise the bridge structure, too, right? >> you've got all that metal under there and magnesium burning, something's going to happen. >> surprisingly, the driver of the truck was issued a citation for failure to control his vehicle throughout all of this. they said maybe he was going too fast on these icy roads. that led to the accident. this video is going to make

all of you guys mad and it makes me want to go to jackson, mississippi, and do something myself. this woman who is walking outside of the store in a parking lot is 81 years old. she's going to her car, but watch this guy in the hoodie. he's chasing after her and watch what happens when they meet in the parking lot. he attacks. she has her shopping cart. she pushes it at him. >> oh, no! >> but he hits her, knocks her to the ground and takes her purse and runs off. >> what a dirtbag. and there's nobody around. >> what a scumbag, to attack an 81-year-old woman in this violent manner and in broad daylight. there is someone on the right side of the screen but that person doesn't seem to be fazed. >> there's two rows of cars away. >> finally some people do come along and help her because she can't get up off the ground herself. the woman suffered a broken hip and a broken wrist because of this.

and authorities say she had already had a hip replacement not that long before that. >> that's your mom, that's your grandmother, that's your aunt, how do you do that? did they catch this dirt bag? or is he still out there? >> he's still out there. >> karma is going to be mean to that man. >> i have an animal rescue for you that will break your heart but then leave you cheering. this is on a frozen harbor in nova scotia. as you see, we have two deer stuck on the frozen lake. one the mother deer, the other her fawn. and the mother is having trouble standing up. it almost looks like the baby deer is trying to help mom out. this video was actually captured by a retired biologist. he called the department of natural resources so that they could help. you see that helicopter coming in? that's a helicopter from the

d&r. you're thinking they're going to hoist them to safety. the fawn gets spooked, runs to shore and is fine. but momma deer is still having trouble. this chopper pilot is so brilliant, though. watch what he does. he gets close enough to the deer so that the wash from the row or the -- rotors starts blowing the deer to shore. at first it terrifies her. but then i think the deer realizes she's being rescued. the helicopter stays just feet above the ice and follows the deer's body all the way to the shore. >> that's working really well. the deer seems to be picking up speed too as it gets going. >> ctv news actually spoke to ian wall, the retired biologist who shot this video. he was amazed by this pilot's

skill. >> in one word, it was brilliant. it was a solution exactly tailored to the situation. >> and once the deer makes it ashore, u see ese two guys start helping. the pilot of the hospital, the other an official, and kind of scoot her along on her way. you see her stumble and struggle. >> she just needs to get the blood flow going on her legs. i mean, been out there on the frozen ice for a while. looks like a beautiful day for a ride in the mountains with your motorcycle. got to watch out for not just cars, but other motorcyclists. keep your eyes up ahead on this twisty road. it looks like the bikers have it all to themselves, but watch two bikes get tangled. >> oh! oh, ouch! >> head-on collision between a sport bike and a harley rider. looks to me like the guy on the

ducati went a little wide and collected the guy on the harley. >> you barely see it because you're watching the other motorcycle sweep by him very closely and suddenly everyone's on ground. >> it was so hard to tell who was at fault here. both bikers could have been going wide on their turns. let's head on over to another crazy video. this one looks like it could go wrong at any moment. but miraculously doesn't. apparently the description under this video is that this is an 8-year-old girl driving this audi. now, i watched this whole five-plus minutes of video. looking for something to be fake. and i think this is every bit of real. at one point you see a man's hand from the passenger seat reach over and guide the steering wheel. this is snowy, icy roads. and there's cars that are coming in the opposite direction. it's not on any kind of closed road. someone did a pretty good job, i have to say. at the end of the video, they do the old switcheroo. she hops out of the car with a

when this puppy was born, they called her juliette. but now her name is wonky. when you see her, you'll see why.

>> aw, what happened? the paws are inverted. she's got a birth defect. >> she was born with contracted flexor tendons, meaning she would walk on her wrists and basically needed some physio therapy. that video was taken on february 9th. >> that wasn't even that long ago. >> it wasn't that long ago. here she is now. >> what? how did that happen? they fixed her. >> she just had good diet, lots of love and physiotherapy. >> that's amazing! >> they just worked her hantds? >> stretched her hands out. she's not wonky anymore. >> i don't know how they did it, but the veterinarian explained why it needed to be done. >> quite uncomfortable for her. and it was making it impossible for these joints to be straight. >> she's up for adoption. >> i want to adopt wonky. >> everybody wants to adopt wonky. but they said they're being very, very selective about who they're going to allow to adopt her because they want to make

sure that they get a family that's still close to the center so she can still get some physio therapy. they have 18 other centers with 1,500 other dogs. >> they might need to rename wonky now back to juliette. >> she's doing great now, though. generally you think fashion couldn't surprise you anymore. this one is pretty cool. the guys over at naked denim came up with a very interesting material for one of their jeans. >> these are, as i said -- they change colors. >> it's like a technicolor shirt. i've never seen it with denim. >> it's almost like a bleach stain on your jeans but it goes away. >> if you start getting hot in areas, it's not going to suddenly have white crap.

it bleeds. juggling is a skill that i've never been able to do. it's something that you have to practice at. so this guy takes three balls and a rubik's cube to practice his poor ball juggling technique. but if you watch over the course of this five minutes of video, you will notice that the rubik's cube -- >> no way. >> slowly and surely gets solved. >> no! no. >> it's remarkable. this guy's name is robbie fernando. and it's hard to even see it happening, but if you just keep your eye on the rubik's cube, you notice that the colors are all start to come together until the very end of this video. >> this has got to be like trickery stuff. >> people walking in the background. there's no chance for an edit here, so it's definitely a real video. >> robbie can do this. here's another video of him with two balls and a rubik's cube. you can see him. it doesn't even look like he's

is conducting operation robin hood in nottingham. protesting what they are calling rich companies that are evading taxes. during this protest they were having, they wanted to shut some of those businesses down. but instead, something very beautiful happened. >> it means nothing to you. >> this man is anonymous. >> saying if you don't give this man money, then you're not about anonymous. that's what we're about, helping this guy. so people start giving. they say even the police loved what they were doing. >> people were giving him hugs. and look at the sign he's holding. it's got misspellings, but it says a message, please, i am hungry, please help me. one small donation. thank you, god bless. they blessed him financially. not only that, they gave him hugs and he's just -- he can't even speak while this is going on. making my heart just

looks like we've got ourselves a pretty nice night for a bike ride in australia. guy has his head lamp on to see where he's going, make sure he doesn't run into an unsuspecting speed bomp. -- bump. >> he's got a little speedometer there. >> wasn't expecting this. watch again. that thing's not running. that thing's hopping. >> that's a kangaroo! >> that's a kangaroo that comes and decks this guy. >> oh! that couldn't have felt good. he had on shorts. >> yeah, painful impact. you hear some scraping on the ground. no sign of the kangaroo. looks like the guy is okay. gets some help from his buddy to check out what's wrong with the bike, if anything. >> australians don't get their panties in a wad a lot. this guy falls over. check the wheel, mate.

♪ >> last week, we featured this little guy on our show during our ebaum's world segment. remember this? the squeaking rain frog? thanks to a fantastic viewer, mr. larry nichols in tacoma, washington, we have a great viewer submitted video. larry's dog quinn happens to be a fan of "right this minute," and you can see as first, quinn is napping on the sofa. that moment comes on the screen. it's instant too! he wastes no time. >> because it probably sounds like quinn's squeezy toys that she's probably been playing with herho life. id thought it was a squeaky toy. the dog sits up. that's what he does. >> squeaky toy.
