man who just moved to the u.s. from argentina. he was familiar with cardinal jorge mario bergoglio. live in san francisco, eric rasmussen, ktvu channel 2 news. vice president joe biden is expected to lead the u.s. delegation to the pope's installation mass next tuesday. according to reports, pope benedict xvi doesn't plan to attend. in 2005, jeb bush headed the delegation. president obama offered warm wishes to pope francis i. he said i look forward to working with him to advance peace, security and dignity, regardless of faith. we are learning the pope

of the woman. barbara boxer questioned whether the military made an error when the u.s. military dropped rape charges. jeremy goulet was a pilot in hawaii when he was court- martialed on rape. but the charges were dropped in exchange for a discharge. barbara boxer said the military needs to recognize rape is a violent crime and those who commit it are capable of further violence. police called off their search today saying a woman is presumed dead. the search started last thursday when she failed to return home. the california highway patrol says surveillance video led investigators to believe that she committed suicide. her husband die offend cancer last year. her family thanked the community and police for their help in the search. police finished a six month

sex crimes investigation that divided people in a city. officers say the late teacher did engage in sexual activities with two students. he also made sex videos. investigators say the crimes took place at his home, school and in his car. he was arrested last september, he committed suicide afterwards. in a move that could be the first of its kind one senator wants to let students get cret for taking courses -- credit for taking courses online. the bill would open up certain classes for credit. the classes are often over booked and not getting in can slow academic progress. the san francisco symphony is on strike for the first time in more than 15 years. the union announced the work
