officials expect some parents will keep their parents home from foothill high school tomorrow. a student saw a message in a bath room and reported it, it read, i hate everyone at this school, watch me shoot everyone on march 14. >> i think it is probably just some kids wanting attention. but i am not really sure. >> reporter: [ inaudible question ] >> i am not sure. >> extra police and staff were on hand today and tomorrow. a teacher abuse scal arkansas scandal -- scandal has parents aasking how can we protect -- asking how can we protect our children. ktvu's john sasaki has been speaking to parents about the steps they are taking. >> reporter: we are across the street from the school where parents picked up the last of their children 20 minutes ago.

in the days since this story broke it has been the talk all over town. talk that a teacher tied up a two-year-old girl with tape because she didn't want to take a nap. that woman was banned this week from working with children. we talked to parents, some who were concerned, others were not. >> it is really sad that somebody could do that to a baby. >> every day thing and it does happen somewhere all the time. it is a big world. >> we look for -- spent lot of time observing. many of the ones that i felt comfortable with invited the kids to join in right away. >> reporter: contact the state department to see if a school is properly license and if it had violations and you can ask the school if all staff had

victimized by hackers. a company celebrated its ipo with a big spike in its stock price. officers with silver springs ran the opening bell today. the company provides software and services for public utilities. the stock rose 29% on the first day of trading to close at $22 a share and the company rose $81 million. california officials announced a new partnership with the federal government to bring two large solar projects to california. >> climate change is on the way. and we got to do something about it. >> governor jerry brown held a press conference in san francisco. the projects are in riverside county and a wind farm planned in november. they are expected to power

340,000 homes. we start off the morning with coastal fog, dense fog advisory was in effect, we will see dense fog again tomorrow morning. fog moving in right now. that is the south tower of the bridge. i know we have fog by the cliff house, you can see it there. fog over the hills, it will have an impact on tomorrow's highs. 80 today in santa rosa. 84 morgan hill. temperatures drop off tomorrow. just going to drop off a couple degrees. instead of 80 degrees, we will be 68, 72. mid-70s as well. we are dry and we stay dry. we have been warm. we will stay warm but trend down because of the fog.

model isn't picking it up. we have fog at the beach and towards pacifica and half moon bay. the fall will make it further inland tonight. the forecast highs tomorrow, about what i am seeing now. these are current temperatures. that wouldn't -- those work well for highs. 76 antioch. still warm outside. marine layer stretches a little bit in response to a weak weather system that will get close to this, when it gets close it stretches out the fog and it pushes more cool air, not just at the surface and that will make it into richmond, it will make it over to fremont so temperatures trend down. we have seen bigger pushes. but it is enough it will cool things off. subtle changes. it is not raining. we have no rain in the five-day
