friends and walks right into that propeller. got ahold of his wrist, his shoulder. the youtube uploader says almost entirely took off his ear. you can see the blood, you can see people rushing to his age. shirt and tatters. tim might have been a little disoriented. he wasn't going to go on this flight because he was feeling kind of sick this day, didn't get much sleep, so was kind of out of it. tim was rushed to the an javier hospital. according to the uploader, it missed all of his major arteries, they said missed by own inches. so tim, after nine hours of the surgery in the hospital, recovering well, lucky to be alive. >> he just didn't judge the distance between his head and the propolar. >> i think he just wasn't thinking about it. he just had the sound in his head and completely forgot about it. tim, the guy who got hurt, asked

his friends to upload the video to youtube as a reminder to be careful. >> a woman attempting suicide jumped off a bridge earlier this month, but an officer's daring rescue was caught on dash cam. here you can see people telling him, we saw something. we saw a woman jump over the bridge. as soon as we pulled over, she jumped pt sore officer looks down, realized that they could hear somebody. >> they think they can hear somebody. >> got a rope .is lowered himself down. >> you see right there in the water. she's right in the water. >> i can see somebody in the water right there. >> here you can see all the action going on up on top of the bridge as the officer is lowering himself to get the woman. >> somebody call in. hold on. >> they're trying to let her know, look, somebody is there. she's in the water. >> somebody get to the other

side of the water. she is in the water at the water's edge. >> sthe did land in some water and eventually made it close to shore, but the officer was the one that got in the water and helped guide her to the edge. the officer used the light from his taser to pinpoint where she was so the other officers could get at her. she was eventually rescued and taken to the hospital. she was facing a dui charge, but she is hospitalized and they expect her to be okay. >> any word on why she attempted to commit suicide? >> the official note that was left at the scene, i love you and then -- >> you didn't think i would, but, obviously, she made an attempt on her own live. police say she was under the influence, so that may have something to do with the suicide attempt. >> somebody coming for you. hold on. >> just goes to show, you can never judge a big by itself cover. check out this fine distinguished man dressed in this fancy suit.

last week, i brought you guys this story of a road rage incident near camp pendelton,

california, involving a driver and a marine sergeant. the marine sergeant is joshua brightman. the driver, 19-year-old mike mccurdy kintana. "inside edition" recently caught up with mike to get his side of the story. mike talked about how he was able to remain so calm during this incident. >> i knew if i would have given him any satisfactory of me looking at him, he would have just got more enraged. so i just listened to the music and just blocked him out. >> which was tough. we were all very impressed with his patience. but it worked. he dent get injured in this situation. i think if we would have engaeged the sergeant, the guy would have gotten even more crazy, which is hard to imagine. he also talked about how he got most upset when the guy went around and started yelling at his sister. it was uncalled for for the words and what he said to my sister. >> take a [ bleep ] video you

[ bleep ]. >> his sister was the passenger in his car. he's an injured marine that right now is confined to a wheelchair. another update to this story, mike and his sister were asked to come to the base and were escorted to a private room with sergeant brightman inside to apologize. however, mccurdy kintana says he doesn't really buy the apology. >> the way he said it does not feel like it want sincere whatsoever. >> abc 10 says they contacted the marines about the whole incident. they said the whole thg stl under in what could we better than a little kayaking trip while on vacation in ohua being surrounded by whales. >> i don't know my reaction, if i could get panicked and scared or if i would be excited. >> i would be feeling real -- i would be amazingly thrilled.

this seemed like a really good idea for about 30 seconds. these two girls are in two swings and they've managed to interlock their legs and then dude comes up and starts swinging them. they're having a great time, laughing away. >> split apart, go. >> then you hear someone say,

hey, let go, split apart. then this. once they let go, it looks like this girl on the left hits that sidebar. as she's swinging forward, she ends up just slipping right out of the swing. she's lucky she flipped out, because her friend came right at her. probably would have punched her out, anyway. >> am i the only one that's disappointed that it wasn't a bigger fail? >> i thought they were going to conk their heads. >> so what you're saying is the swing fail failed? >> the trick chart artists from dude perfect have been around for so long right now that they are inspiring others who make trick shot video. they say they're not anywhere ras good, and these guys do

sporting goods to do these trick shots. you see them on the basketball field. from the tennis court to the basketball court. of course you get super ecited ter you sink one of these crazy trick shots. here woot go a guy doing some juggling with the cross stick. from the mreerchs out tt football field. 1 778th low back to the 11th row. then they did some tricks in the pool. sinking the basketball with the poolside basketball hoop, always fun. you know what i find most impressive about these videos? is that the guys have this kind of time that indicates getting this right. >> two girls get into a cab, but they get the ride of their lives. >> what are you doing? >> they're a little worried, but then they calm down a little bit
