on the victim's car. 30 bullet casings were found. the victim's wound are not life threatening and the victims are not cooperating. police say the man who held firefighters hostage in atlanta was armed and told firefighters he targeted them so he wouldn't be shot. we brought you the story yesterday at this time. he faked an illness to get firefighters in and was lying in bed when they arrived. when they approached the bed he pulled out a gun. he opened fire on a police officer, the officer was hit in the arm but returned fire killing him. there is a plan in the works to help protects firefighters in these cases. homeland security has been drafting instructions for firefighters. so far there is no word on when they will be ready. if you flown lately this story may not surprise you.
