live in san jose, robert handa, ktvu channel 2 news. a 16-year-old high school students from deer valley high school has been arrested in connection with making several fake bomb threats this week in antioch. police say the boy admitted to making calls to deer valley high school and black diamond middle school. students were evacuated monday, tuesday and wednesday and three more calls were made this morning. coming up at 6:00 p.m., we spoke to the police chief, learned why this crime is so serious. police arrested a man they say fired shots at a little league baseball game last week. joshua chi was taken into custody last night. he has been booked into jail on attempted murder charges. officers say the suspect and a man got into an argument. police say joshua chi fired shots as the man drove away.

the victim was not hit but his car was. others had to dive for cover. more tonight about a massive raid in oakland involving 250 federal agents and police. ktvu's mike mibach tells us what authorities found and what they didn't find. >> the fbi and police tried to dismantle that gang but after a three month investigation here we are tonight as officers are still looking for a number of people -- number of people they didn't catch. >> reporter: they packed for a battle. 150 fbi agent, 120 oakland officers. >> since february we have been working with the police to target the gang violence. >> this operation centered around gang violence more so

one of the dogs and shot it dead. he is afraid to leave his pets unattended. 4 gets and 10 chickens were killed. >> the next day all dead. >> reporter: sheriff's deputies will continue their search tonight and through the weekend. >> you mentioned local schools are being warned here and the one sheriff's deputy who shot one of the dogs, has someone else come across the dogs? >> reporter: no one has been bitten or approached by the dogs and sheriff's deputies are warning if anyone sees it dogs they should be called immediately because they are dangerous. >> thank you. the fate of more than 200 earthquake safety bolts and the opening day of the bridge rests in the hands of scientific testing for safety.

. with this being national bike to work week we turned our attention to a agency that never faces money troubles. one of its latest spending sprees involves bikes that cost taxpayers a thousand dollars east. there is no data showing the plan will improve our air quality. >> mike mibach now with our special report, one only on 2. >> reporter: this bike is the first of what the district hopes will be the first 1,000 bicycles that will be deployed. all five are on the peninsula or south bay. and each one costs $1,000. so the total price of the bikes is a cool $1 million. but that is the cheap part. everything else, including the
