that has been in the san jose neighborhood for 50 years, but this is the last. it is one of two closing for good because of declining enrollment. many children in east san jose go to the school their parents and grandparents attended. but today the district submitted its final budget reduction plan to the office of education and both schools will be closed after this year and some parents say families are heart-broken. >> i was upset and this is our community school and they have to go to school. so it is hard. my daughter yesterday started telling me and she is saying the school is closer closing. >> everyone is sad, and this has

we are following reports of in pittsburgh of a man grabbing

a toddler and running. the child has been found but the man is on the loose. >> reporter: police are not saying much, you can see they are having a quick conversation, the gentlemen in the suit the detective and the two men in the white shirts are the supervisors of the investigative unit. they have not confirmed what neighbors told us, that a two-year-old was snatched from the front yard and the suspect ran down the street and let the child go. none of that has been confirmed by the police but the neighbors say that is what happened. we have a broken fence here and when police responded to the call of this attempted kidnapping, a man ran away and broke through the fence.

good avenueening evening, i am frank somerville. and police have made one arrest following the alleged kidnapping of a toddler. we are live with an update from the police. >> reporter: they are telling us there is a lot of information we don't know, so to be careful before jumping to conclusions. they did catch a man who was hiding from him, but say that man may have had nothing to do with the call for an alleged kidnapping. this is what we know, police are spanned out across the neighborhood and looking for a

suspect and treating this as if this is as a kidnapping from a family. a man snatched a two-year-old from the front yard, ran down the street and released the child. a man ran from them and hid behind a fence and they broke through the fence and took him into the custody and determined he had nothing to do with the call. and they are still out looking for this suspect. the gentlemen in the coat is the detective in charge and he is going to be providing a suspect description so folks in this neighborhood can keep an eye out. they don't was
