story this noontime. janine de la vega is live from that starbucks to tell us how starbucks is reacting and what's happening to the police investigation. janine? >> reporter: tori, this was the brand of orange juice tampered with. i bought this bottle at a different starbucks location. that's because all of the bottles here of evolution osh juice have been removed. customers were disturbed here at the starbucks that someone purposely poisoned the orange juice. >> i don't buy jews normally but suppose i did and i drank it. >> reporter: police say this woman, ramineh behbehanian, took two bottles off the shelf of the juice and put two in she had in her bag. she quickly left the store. employees examined the boddles

-- examined the bottles and the fire department and police department arrived. >> the reith dosage was lethal -- dosage was lethal. >> reporter: police found her four miles away at a home and arrested her. neighbors think ramineh behbehanian that lives alone and warned her about mail thefts in the neighborhood earlier in the day. police say she doesn't have a criminal record and are still investigating a motive. >> we don't know if she's done this before. we have no reason to believe there are other copfy shops with similar dangers. >> reporter: a starbucks spokesperson said they've advised all of the starbucks in the area to check the bottle to make sure the seal has not been broken or none of them have been tampered with.

we'll have much more on the investigation coming up at 5:00. janine de la vega, ktvu channel 2 news. >> thank you. in california's gold country this noontime, the manhunt continues for the killer of a little girl. 8-year-old leila fouler was stabbed to death in her home in calaveras county. ken wayne is live from the girl ally school where classmates and teachers are planning a special tribute tonight. good afternoon, ken. >> reporter: good afternoon. there's gonna be a candlelight vigil here at the school at 7:00. you look over my shoulder. you can see school is in session -- school is in session. the flag is at half-half at the school. 610 -- at half-staff at the school. 610 students attend her. 92 children were kept home by their parents. things appear to be slowly returning to normal even though there's still a law enforcement presence here. parents seem to be holding onto their children a little bit tighter today and school officials say they are doing

what they can to get through this crisis. >> we've lost students to illness, suicide, car accidents but nothing this senseless, tragic and shocking, given the nature of the homicide and i think what adds to it the assailant is still at charge. >> we're a down of 7,000. we don't even lock our doors. all of that has changed. in fact, we were out of town and our next door neighbor came and knocked our house up while we were gone. >> reporter: leila's parents, barney fowler and crystal walters did not speak at a news conference last night outside of the sheriff's department, but they may speak tonight. sheriff officials have not named a suspect but they've been talking to registered sex offenders. >> members of the police department and the probation department have nearly completed contacted and in many

newschopper2 showed the back upthat stretched into south san francisco and slowed traffic on southbound 280. good afternoon to you. we've got warm, dry weather and eventually turning windy. with that we face fire concerns. for the afternoon giving you a look at the advisory. those shades in red are the north and east bay hills where i do expect winds will eventually gust to 50 even 60 miles per hour. i do expect them to be at the strongest in the overnight hours. the advisory starts this afternoon at 6:00 and will last until wednesday afternoon. so we have very dry conditions and the windy conditions again really creating that fire danger a little bit later today. i also want to mention, a wind advisory, that actually started this morning. it will last until tomorrow afternoon. driving along i-80 you will have difficulty, the winds i'm seeing in fairfield, about 20

miles an hour. i expect they will pick up in the afternoon. 40-mile-an-hour gusts expected through areas like vallejo, benicia is going to be a windy one for today. that means it could be a tough day for our allergy sufferers. that to keep in mind. the red flag warning, lasting into tomorrow. more on that information. the system associated with this wind event also gonna drop the temperatures a bit for today. i will have the numbers coming up. thank you, rosemary. oakland police say an 18- year-old richmond man was killed in a drive-by shooting last night at parker and macarthur boulevard just before 10:00. stray bullets also hit an ac transit bus, another vehicle and a few homes but no one else was injured. the coroner has not released the name of the victim. the investigators are offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. police shook a man in

custody after a shot spotter system traced a home and officers say they were doing target practice and shooting at cans. one bullet hit a neighbor's home. no one was hurt. it's not clear if they face charges. it happened around 7:30. an oregon man is under arrest accused of two carjackings in marin and sonoma county. police arrested him last night at the bon air shopping center in greenbrae. they say they found several hundred bullets, a loaded rifle and six 30-round mag steins -- magazines. he reportedly pointed a loaded rifle at a woman's head before the carjacking. we spoke to -- we spoke to her. >> the whole time, i was like i can't believe no one is walking close enough to me to ask for help. >> according to investigators, he was trying to get to the russian consulate in san francisco where he was planning

today, the sacramento valley, there's a wind advisory already in place. that system in -- moving into utah also responsible for a little bit of a cooldown. temperatures aren't going to be as warm as yesterday, still well above average. just not as warm in most cases. again it's going to bring that red flag warning to the north and east bay hills, starting at 6:00 and will last until tomorrow. the wind advisory is already in place for the straight as well as the delta. i think the winds are picking up in the afternoon. the gusts are expected to reach 40 and the models are showing that it -- it will come later today around the bay area, not bad, mountain view, 14 miles an hour. oakland reported 6. it's in the hills where the winds will really be howling later tonight and into the overnight hours. those winds are strong enough to perhaps bring down trees maybe power lines. just a good idea to be alert.
